Receives Dearborn Community Foundation Grant
The Dearborn Community Foundation, Inc. awarded $100,000.00 to the Dearborn County Department of Transportation and Engineering from the City of Lawrenceburg Community Grant Program Phase 2 for the construction of a new salt storage building in Dearborn County.
Todd Listerman, County Engineer, would like to thank the Dearborn Community Foundation and the City of Lawrenceburg. Mr. Listerman also wants to thank Tim Greive, Highway Supervisor, Ashley (Webb) Newnam, Zoning Administrator, and Commissioner Tom Orschell for their work on the grant application. This grant will be used to construct a salt building at the County Facility located on Randall Avenue, Aurora. The new salt building will allow the Department of Transportation and Engineering to store its’ yearly winter salt needs under roof.
