DC Redevelopment Public Hearing, Executive Session, and Special Meeting  on West Aurora Economic Development Area on April 13, 2017 starting at 6 PM

Notice of Public Hearing
Regarding Amendment of Economic Development Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Dearborn County Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”) will conduct a public hearing on April 13, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. local time, in the Administration Building, Commissioner’s Room, 215B West High Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025, to consider proposed amendments to the Resolution previously adopted by the Dearborn County Redevelopment Commission (the “Resolution”) that established the West Aurora  Economic Development Area (the “Economic Development Area”) and adopted an economic development plan for the Economic Development Area (the “Plan”). The proposed amendments, which have been preliminarily approved by resolution of the Commission, would amend the Plan to add certain additional projects and to include the purchase of two (2) parcels that are located within the existing Allocation Area with the intention of making certain improvements on those parcels that would benefit the Allocation Area by encouraging business growth.

Written remonstrances against the proposed amendment may be filed by no later than 6:00 p.m. local time on April 13, 2017 in the office of the Dearborn County Redevelopment Commission, Administration Building, Commissioner’s Room, 215B West High Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025. 

At the public hearing, the Commission will hear any person interested in the proceedings and will consider all written remonstrances and objections that have been filed and will determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed amendments to the Plan. Maps and plats for the Economic Development Area have been prepared and can be inspected at the office of the Dearborn County Redevelopment Commission at the address listed above.
