13 May 2021 Dearborn County Redevelopment Meeting Notes
The following notes are based on information I asked for from the county administrator. I was unable to attend this meeting in person.CBM
Present: Diane Bender, Chairman, Dave Deddens (via telephone), Alan Goodman, and Jim Deaton.
ABSENT- Jim Helms and Jamie Graff (School Board member)
Also present:Sue Hayden, county administrator and minute taker, Andrea Ewan, attorney, Connie Fromhold, Auditor and DCRC treasurer and Jim Thatcher.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES-February 19 Minutes
CLAIMS AND FINANCIALS Baker Tilly $4,500 for work on expanding Aurora Economic Development Area, impact statement and attending meeting. Baker Tilly $2,355 for Annual TIF Reporting to DGLF. One Dearborn $10,000 for 1st quarter payment. Drake Lawn $350 for 5 mowings. Land Consultants $2,500 completed/consolidated parcels 26.092 acres & .492 acres with original 14.025 acre survey.

NEW BUSINESS:
TIF Neutralizations – Connie Fromhold, DCRC Treasurer
Resolution DCRC-2021-002 Determination to Capture Tax Increment Revenues- approved
Letter to Taxing Units re: Intent to Capture Tax Increment Revenues was approved. No school board members or supt. were present for this.
Annual Presentation to Taxing Units – Mike Perleberg, One Dearborn presented this report. All dollars are being kept in the TIFs.
Item not listed on the agenda:
There was a presentation for a resolution to create a task force to look into HOTIF ( Housing Opportunity TIF) for the county based on the studies that One Dearborn had presented some time ago. Citing that the county’s population has stagnated and that the school enrollment is declining, the task force will look into the feasibility of a housing program for the county. Resolution was approved.
