JIM HUGHES - DEARBORN COUNTY COUNCILMAN OBITUARY
James Alex Hughes, age 62, of Dillsboro passed away unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack Sunday Dec. 9, 2012, at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg.
Visitation is Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dillsboro Public School followed by funeral services Saturday at 11 AM also at the Dillsboro School.
Hughes was a math teacher at South Dearborn Community Schools for over 30 years. He retired from teaching in 2005. Hughes served as council’s District 3 seat as a Republican since his election in 2010.
