15 January 2021 SE Indiana Regional Port Authority Meeting
Present: Jim Thatcher, Chairman, Kelly Mollaun, Eric Krantz, Secretary, Tom Palmer, Treasurer, Ben Turner, Derek Walker, Al Abdon, EG. McLaughlin.
ABSENT: Mark Drury, Alan Weis, Lenny Fryman, and Sarah Jordan
ABSENT: Andy Baudendistel, Legal Counsel (death in his family) and Sebastian Smelko, Special Legal Counsel
Thatcher sent condolences to Andy and family on death of his step father, Bill Steiner.
Thatcher went over the board members terms of office and welcomed Eric Krantz.
Thatcher is Chairman again.Tom Palmer is Secretary, and Ben Turner is Treasurer as he is working on the audit too. Researching by-laws to see if they need a vice chairman. Turner was also instructed to have only 3 signatures for checks being Thatcher, Turner and Palmer.
The committee to look over checking into items from last meeting regarding educational piece on what the Port is able to do in the area.
Next meeting is March 19th.
Treasurer presented a bill for bondings. $100 to cover Ben Turner as treasurer.Approved. $614,483.70 Balance in Port Funds.
