DEARBORN COUNTY ZONING MAPS – To review and discuss proposed ordinance amendments and
updates to the Dearborn County Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map, specifically with respect to the text(s)
of: Articles 9 and 10, regarding Agricultural and Residential Zoning Districts; Article 25, regarding
General Standards and new Use Development Standards; Article 27, regarding Definitions.
This will be an overview of all changes to date for only the proposed zoning map changes, which will determine
the final proposed zoning map that will be voted on a date yet to be determined.
I have attached the Township maps for the proposed zoning maps being presented to the Plan Commission on Monday. I am unsure how many Townships we will cover in the meeting that night, just depends on how much conversation is spent on each township. I will also have the Townships print at a larger scale on boards in the lobby for the public to review. Please attend the meeting if you would like to discuss with the Plan Commission specific areas of the County regarding the proposed zoning map. This will not be the last public meeting on the zoning maps but don’t miss one or two/three remaining chances to voice any last minute concerns, suggestions, or comments.
The meeting begins at 6:00pm on Monday, March 27th and will be located in the County Government Center (address is below).
