Road Closure- Tuesday Sept 12 from 7-10 AM- Toby Pawlaczyk- Tire Discounters
Right of Entry and Hold Harmless Agreement- Division VP- this is for video purposes and photos will be done for 2-3 hours. Emergency vehicles will not be blocked. Baudendistel said $270 charge included for the deputies to monitor this. Pawlaczyk will get the additional signature and email back. Commissioners approved the closure.
YES Home Additional Regrading - Amy Phillips, Executive Director- This is more regrading that needs to be done. And moving the swing set to the other side of the building. This includes the recreational building. Includes moving some wiring. Total $21,671.40 All paid by YES Home. Aoproved.
County Engineer, Todd Listerman- SR 350 Unofficial detour Agreement - this is for various closures along SR 350 for Summer 2024 between US 50 and SR 101 for road work. Because the locals use the shortest ways around and not the route over 101 and around we ask for coverage of the local streets . Approved.
Design Agreement for Bridge #47 Konradi Rd - United Consulting $405,900 including ROW acquisition plus a small fee once the project is let is to recheck the project. Approved
Bid Openings: All 3 were under engineering on on the estimate of engineering. Have more companies bidding now.
Small Structure #148- Huesman Rd - McAllister Excavating, Patriot IN the lowest bid - $240,273. Approved
Bridge #72- St. Peters Rd - Duncan Robertson out of Franklin IN $679,376.64- the lowest bid- Approved
Bridge #32- North Hogan Rd- Dave O’Mara out of North Vernon IN $867,360- the lowest bid- Approved.
Per Listerman- Re-stripe contractor coming in probably mid September.
Opened Lower Dillsboro Rd but still being worked on to finish up the Rd
Red Bridge #29 is being worked on this week and opened in near future.
Harrison Brookville Rd bridge deck poured this week and hopefully by 2nd week Oct on other side and hope to open by Christmas.
Other projects including Hogan Hill proceeding.

ATTORNEY – Andy Baudendistel:
Action on Stateline Road Unsafe Building- 23342 Stateline Rd-At one point in tax sale and they have walked away and not taking title. This is now the time to initiate litigation like the Union Ridge house. Approved to initiate litigation
Union Ridge House is demolished and reseeded and straw spread by Gunter Excavation.L ien will be put on this
Resolution2023-009 Authorizing Entry into Interlocal Cooperation Agreements with Cities and Towns for 911 Dispatching Services- They have updated these agreements and came up with more equitable numbers for these services. Lawrenceburg and Greendale have their agreements. $10,000 for the rest of this year for Greendale and the new agreement will start Jan 1 for the main one. The costs will be implemented across 2 years and thereafter there will be a built in 5% increase. Approved
Resolution 2023-010 to Authorize Transfer of Real Estate to City of Lawrenceburg- part of the hospital property 0.329 acres and has a new drawing from Seig Surveying as well as the access road. Approved
Approval of Quit Claim Deed- so that Lawrenceburg can do their end too. Approved
Public Records request for Law Enforcement Recordings- Sheriff sent this from Posey County. There are special rules on these from the state. The stature on how long to hold these requests depends on the legal rules. Approved.
Case under BZA and county - requests 4:30 on Sept 19th for executive session on pending possible litigation. Approved.
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS:
Probst- Gayle Pennington resigned effective last week from Clerk of Court. Wendy Beatty to complete Gayle Pennington’s term. Gayle has worked since the 1990s. Clerk and Auditor - 2 of the hardest offices in the country. Debt of gratitude for her many years of service.
Thatcher - Art Little had triple bypass- not able to do the 4th. He’s recuperating at the hospital. Expect he will walk out if they don’t release him soon- if you know how he is.
