6 March 2025 DCRSD Board Meeting Notes
Brett Fehrman- Acting President, Russell Beiersdorfer, Doug Baer, and Jeff Stenger.

Stenger read the Public Access Statement as legally required.

Public Comment: Fehrman- said Andrew Lohmiller ( Real Estate) wanted to address the Board. Lohmiller- Introduced a potential concept they are thinking of doing. Mr. Arnold is with him, and Marvin Chrisman is the owner of the property by the DCRSD plant.They are looking at properties by sewer plants to try taking the load off the SDRSD. Looking to get an operation on Chrisman Property next to the sewer plant in Lawrenceburg.They would use technology that converts the sewage to natural gas and other renewable energy. They do things with sewage sludge. Arnold works with a group outside of state that does digestion technologies. This is a renewable energy project. This increases capacity for the sewer plants too.
Mike Noel has mobile home park by Aurora Casket. Wanted to see what they were doing in his area and how it might affect him. Baer told him the are still looking at the rate schedule. They are looking for someone to run them day to day. This way the board can serve the county better. Noel said he has talked to Doug Price out there and with 13 homes they were using more water than usual. They need to run a check and calibrate their meter out there. DCRSD will see if Kelly can check their water bills out there. Christy can check the specs for that meter too. The meter is 2inch. It’s allocated for 25 homes.
Project Updates: Christy- had a progress meeting with Jeff Meinders, with 2 meetings a month going forward. Taking with SEI data and giving them info they were requesting last week. Mr Patel gave her a call Friday to check on that easement out there. She will ask Jeff Meinders what the timeline is for starting Lake Dildear. She sent a quote to the builder on Husesman for a main extension. There is a decent amount of ROW out there.
New Business: Stenger working on RFP while he was on vacation. He wants to reach out to some companies to get job description examples. He wants to speak with Kelly as they really like having her working for them.
Office Update: Baer- Billing adjustment- as the house sold by estate. $17.81- Approved.
Baer -$9.97 billing adjustment to Joe Shaw. Approved.
Baer have 2 customers with excessive water usage and Aurora has no leaks on their side. One is 70,000 gallons and 14,800 gallons. Bill the people- but check with Frank Kramer. One is in Mt Tabor and one on Hoffman. Baumrichter sp? and Jolly are the owners.
Baer- another one with high bill- 129,000 gals - she paid off the lien. Have to wait till property taxes come to see the payment. Just alert them to that.
Claims: Paid $100 claim for Guilford project. Paid $4,675.01 normal operating claims. Approved. No Feb bill for Lake Dildear.
