Minutes: May 16 minutes- Approved

Public Comment:Mary and Greg Crup  sp? From Lake Dildear- looking for more info. Is main line coming down their road ( yes). They have a chain link fence and a big gate (Meinders said he could get thru the gate). Is water separate from sewer? Yes separate as Hoosier Hills is a separate entity.

Mt Tabor Court- issue with single phase pumps and Flight pumps are 3 phase. He’s working on Kenny Turner’s home. He has Meyer single phase rebuilt pumps. Meyers has 2 residential pumps and the newer one is better per Meinders. The Flight pumps are Swedish.

They ended up using an HOMA pump for $5200. Issues with the brass versus stainless steel. Meinders - H2S gas eats up pressure sewer mechanics.

Project Updates:

Guilford- Christy handed out end of May Project updates. Crew is working near covered bridge. In Guilford- lines have been pulled. Getting to Mt Pleasant down that way

Still waiting on Gas company- they have their temporary crossing. Waiting on them to get back to su. They have to give exact engineering requirements for the road crossing. Hrezo - waiting to put in permanent crossing. Meinders said they have everything they need to get the job going.

Christy - the floating of the tanks at Guilford. There deadmen on each side and cables hold the tanks down. They will fill the tanks when they set them.

Christy worked with Kelly to get all those addresses in. Cline said- Letters went out 37 Lake Dildear and 55 for Guilford. Added one more to Lake Dildear. They will have a folder for each address and have user agreements signed.

Dillsboro- SEI Data easement is done and request from Dillsboro— some question about shifting the easement 3 ft. Christy thinks they are right there in the treatment plant area. Looking at barn distance too. Easement is 15-20 ft. They might consider a meeting on sight. Christy may forward the drawings to SEI Data.

John Watson - the Dillsboro Attorney- contacted Cline about status and Cline updated him. Asked Watson to create a checklist.

Calibrate a meter (can be done)  and cost $900-1100 (for the line extension)- There is capacity at the plant. Approved getting the meter calibrated. This is at end of Mt Tabor. They will respond to the owners as they are reviewing the capacity issues and will request they come to a meeting to discuss it. Discussion also around getting more people on that line.

Frank Kramer has the notice of the public hearing and the proposed rate ordinance. July 17th is the date the Ordinance would be passed. Frank will take care of publication.

New Business: Doug Baer- The Cochrans in Lake Dildear- west of gas station on north side - across the street from the flea market.. This is at Planning Dept. He wants to encourage them to come to  next meeting. Capacity fee is payable by property owner and cost to connect. These are little cottages out there.

Office Update: were in packets from Kelly Shelton.

Ashcraft sent check for $500 only a fraction of what is owed. Kelly will send updated invoice to Ashcraft and showing 10 days to receive payment or Frank will file a lien against their property. Board voted to do this. Also to send it certified mail.

Curry to be charged for average charge to account for filling the pool as her summer meter did not work. Board approved.

Alan Scarber- High Ridge- paid $7000 for the tap. Not hooked on. He had an availability fee of $15-17. Board needs to research- not sure why he needs to do both to reserve his spot. Tabled for now.

Doug Price is checking taps for Kelly.
