Are the other Democrats going to be invited? Or did they decline?

Anonymous said...

is it really tom orschell's responsibility to campaign for others? if they want people to meet them they should host their own event as he is doing. i would be happy to attend anyones event if they would like to hold one.

I agree- any chance to get to know the candidates and their viewpoints is great.

Anonymous said...

Maybe they could do a phone poll?

Anonymous said...

I'm still waiting for my phone call on the comprehensive plan.

"I'm still waiting for my phone call on the comprehensive plan."

Hughes is still waiting for a call list from bobby.

LOL--- he's is toooo dumb to think for himself!

When he's voted out of office it will be "tooo sooon"!

Vote for Rick Fox and Jeff Hughes...

...do not leave Bob Ewbank twisting in the wind...

...with no one left to bully...

...Bob has needs...

Anonymous said...

Becareful , it's easy to think that you mean "vote for fox and Hughes". Im afraid some may take you wrong.

Anonymous said...

Everyone understands that Rick and Jeff are Ewbank's whipping boys!

Ewbank has convinced Rick and Jeff that they would not have any political viablility but for him!

Are there any candidates out there with no affiliation with development interests?

Anonymous said...

Kathy Scott, Jake Hoog, Tom Hammod, Phil Darling. They are for the people.

Anonymous said...

And Orschell seems to be on the people's side...

Fehrman, Hughes, Fox and Barrott lean heavily towards development interests, no matter the costs to the rest of us.

Anonymous said...

Charlie Fehrman has long since worn out his welcome in "our" public office.

His hubris is a detriment to the "common" folks of this county.

Charlie needs to retreat, regroup and reform his thinking and actions.

Now see, how can one in clear conscious vote for Kathy Scott or Thom Hammond? Both are clearly anti-development. So when it's said "don't vote for so and so because they're a developer", is it fair to say "vote for so and so because they're not"? Just ask yourself that.

Now see, how can one in clear conscious...

Smart growth is not "anti-development."

Standing up for those who are being forced to pay for the sewers of those who are for hyper-development and hyper-profits at the expense of the rest of us is not "anti-development."

But of course, you know that, do you not?

Keep trying.

You may come up with something ethically appealing.

Maybe.

Our local crooked developers would love to come clean and open up their files, but like the Clintons, such access may have dire consequences:

Having NO connnections to development interests would create a more even way of making decisions.
Decisions based on merit and not on money

We'll Mr. "just ask your self that
", Most people in this county don't want to see the rapid developement in this county that you seem to want. You have not weighed all the fators to see all the negatives it brings. Anti-development is a good label to wear. If you don't like this rural , down to earth county, just leave. Go to a county more developed.

Look at Harrison, their goverment listened to the people and help stop WalMart. They also are inacting measures to control residetial growth. They relize the burden it puts on the citizens that already live there.

"Standing up for those who are being forced to pay for the sewers of those who are for hyper-development and hyper-profits at the expense of the rest of us is not "anti-development."

Very well stated!

"But...but...but...what about availability fees” stutters and sputters Brett Fehrman?"

Apparently, the needs of High Ridge Estates, the reason the DCRSD was formed and fashioned, is the antithesis of growth and development, in that the mere uncomfortable and awkward existence of High Ridge Estates now seems to be getting in the way of DCRSD’s board members, John Maxwell and Brett Fehrman’s personal growth and development plans!

Anonymous said...

I'm sure dcrsd secretary Vera Benning really feels awkward chancing upon high ridge residents at the local iga or walmart!

After all the crap she billowed to fix high ridge, with everyone knowing that she was just brown nosing Maxwell and his followers!

Everyone has Benning's number, now!

Anonymous said...

So how WILL we solve High Ridge estates- specifically?

So how WILL we solve High Ridge estates- specifically?

After the DCRSD's board members have all their personal sewer projects taken care of first, maybe the the DCRSD may get around to fixing High Ridge.

The last time the DCRSD board came before the County Council, they asked for money for what?

It was not for High Ridge.

Anonymous said...

Didn't the dcrsd board president have a hissy fit when the council told them to stop wasting the taxpayers' time and money and get back to fixing high ridge estates, since that is why they were formed?

The dcrsd: brought to you by your good friends, Vera, Jeff and Rick!

One down, two to go!

such lies keep spreading the lies
some pleople actually belief this stuff.

"some pleople actually belief this stuff."

Some pleople believed all their efforts regarding the Comp. Plan would not be completely disregarded by a few political lackies trying to curry favor with their political bosses.

Some pleople believed that the dcrsd would do what they were formed to do and not be taken over conflicted and special development interests.

Some pleople believed when they voted for the republican candidate in the last commissioners' primary that their leadership would not stab them in the back to support a development democrat.

Some pleople believed...

No one, however, now believes Rick, Jeff, Vera, Bob, Liz, Gary, Maynard and a couple of Fehrmans...
