Well, she seems like a nice person but she should either run for the school board or find out more about county government. She could not answer even the most basic questions. That said, I do give credit to people who at least try to put themselves out there.

HI Anonymous! Thank you for taking the time to listen and leave a comment. I appreciate the encouragement for getting out here and trying to make a difference. I've always been very active in my community (12 years as a Girl Scout leader, 17 years of volunteering with the schools, 4 years with the Civic Garden Center, etc...)

I do feel it is important for citizens to become involved!

I am pretty comfortable with what the county government does (have a few relatives in political positions throughout the country). I haven't actually taken the time though to research the compensation here locally (honestly, I'm not used to being compensated for my community involvement and I realize the county government is a paid position but it will not be how I am supporting my family so I am fine with whatever the compensation for this position is.) I am just happy to have a chance to be elected and serve my fellow citizens in some way.

Also, I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have if you feel I did not understand or answer any other questions well. Thank you!
