The judge's debates had some pointed remarks. In the video version Judge Blankenship seemed disturbed when the moderator announced that her ex-husband, Charlie Blankenship's role in the debates did not include any role in the questions asked.
Alan Miller did not side step any of the issues. I think he won this round.

What does the moderator's comment about the Blankenship's have to do with anything? Jeez.

That said, I think both candidates did OK.

All I can say about Mr. Miller's opponent regarding her comments about the drug situation and keeping families safe is BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! What about drugs and her family and how many husbands has she been through???

To all, I encourage you to vote on Nov. 6th.. and unlike Anonymous do it with positive discussion of issues and who is best qualified. Don't whine or leave negative comments about any candiate.. they work hard and deserve our respect.. Voice your opinion in the voting both..

It seems to me if a judge cannot properly deal with her own family and has a record of many marriages, there is something very wrong. Does not seem very stable. Does not sound like there is much stability in the way she handles her courtroom either. Your personal life is definitely a reflection of your character. Again, seems to be a lot of instability with Mr. Miller's opponent.

Anonymous, if you are going to make serious accusations about any candidate then you need to back it with factual information.. not doing so make you come of as an ill informed voter with a chip on your shoulder..

Shelby County houses the records you seek Our Great Country.

To "Our Great Country" If your comment was meant for me, you should get your facts straight about me. I am an informed voter and most definitely do not have a chip on my shoulder. Also, sounds like you do not have your facts straight about the candidate I was referring to.

Anonymous, Your comments speak louder than any fact you could possible ever post.. no truths and derogatory remarks only tell any reader of this blog that you have a PERSONAL agenda..

I believed this was a blog where I could get information about the upcoming elections.. it is NOT.. I am done here!

Note to Our Great Country: I agree, except I find it highly entertaining to read a large number of commenters who are borderline illiterate, and write and spell as if they barely made it out of kindergarten.
(...As in Anoymous 8:10 and 6:43 in this particular discussion.)
It scares me to think these people are voters. On the other hand, judging by their grammar (or lack thereof), perhaps they can't even read the ballot.
(Spoiler alert: Somebody will blame everybody in the current Dearborn County government for the illiteracy and ignorance of said commenters.)

To judge someone because of their grammar, etc., is pathetic. Everyone has the right to free speech. There are some people, especially older people, who were not given the opportunities to get good educations but maybe they fought in a war for your freedom and rights to education. Most of the people on this blog are disgusting with their nasty comments but to judge someone because of their grammar is low. Also, to the person who is obviously upset with my comments regarding the judge, it sounds like you have something "personal" with her. You all have a great weekend.

Blogs are by their nature opinion sites.
Sharing different opinions is often messy and sometimes rude.
Judging people by their grammar is a questionable practice. We all know people who are intelligent but not highly educated.
Can we try to attack the issues and not the people?
Then vote for the people who stand for what you believe in.

I stand by my comment. It is my opinion she has had much instability in her personal life and it is my opinion that interferes with a person's ability to handle thier job properly. I have also seen instability in the way she does her job.

11:16: Does having an arrest record interfere with one's job performance? At least one candidate (NOT a judicial candidate) whom I've heard meets that description. Do you rank a couple of failed marriages on the same level as having a record? Just asking.

Anonymous said...

couple failed marriages? as in two?
how about three?
that seems like a pattern.

which non-judicial candidate has a record? what was it for?
