Where's the money for forced sewer hook-ups?

Get a life you single issue simpleton!

What does the administrator DO for his $69,ooo a year?

He is "Chief Stroker" of Realtor/Developers' egos and "Go-For" for Bob Ewbank!

What does the administrator DO for his $69,000 a year?

WHAT A BARGAIN!!!

THE COUNTY RECEIVES $200,000.00 WORTH OF SMUG FOR $69,000.00 OF OUT OF POCKET DOLLARS!!!!!!!!

He has to deal with single issue simpletons.

He should get a raise.

Single issue?

Every dollar stolen by realtor/developer flunkies in County Government, equals one dollar per issue!

Anonymous said...

Forced hook-ups!

One single issue realtors and developers have wrapped all their tentacles around and invested their futures and fortunes in!

Anonymous said...

"He has to deal with single issue simpletons."

Yes, he must really grow tired of dealing with all those realtor/developer simpletons whining:

"GIVE ME! GIVE ME! GIVE ME ALL THEM TAXPAYER DOLLARS! WE JUST CANNOT MAKE IT ON OUR OWN!

"He should get a raise."

Another "simpleton" willing to flush more tax dollars down the drain!

What is the purpose of putting this information on the blog?

It seems that this is all for self gratification and/or just something to do.

It does nothing to change anything.

An intelligent electorate is also an educated electorate!

Of course, such electorate is also the bane of those ensconced in public office…who begin to suppose they own the public processes!

Maybe you would feel better with just one, more streamlined, office of public information, “Joseph Goebbels” style?

We cannot have the “ruled” usurping the prefectures of the “ruler” class!

Step outside your law or realty or public office...

...you will then find plenty signs of intelligent life!

Unless, of course, you prefer the company of dim-witted lemmings!

An education coupled with intelligence...takes you off the DCEDI and the Chamber's list of candidates they would be willing to endorse for local county office!

$69,000...for the admin. Wow, that's about $250 an hour. Sounds like he's paid as much as the good ol' boys at Vieste?!

Coroner 15,450

We need to pay him a bit more and send him out to declare the DCRSD dead!

Assuming a 40 hour week, $69,000 is $33.17 an hour.
So much for intelligence on this blog.

How come so much tax money is spent on jails, jailers, and jailees?

Anonymous said...

How come so much tax money is spent on jails, jailers, and jailees?

Because the jails, jailers and jailees' bake sales and car-washes just never amount to much!

Anonymous said...

I find the money directed to jails well spent...we must all provide for the retirement of our more "politically active" realtor/developers!

Anonymous said...

The funding for enforced sewer hookups is paid by those forced to hookup in the form of tap fees. Not from county funds.

Anonymous said...

"The funding for enforced sewer hookups is paid by those forced to hookup in the form of tap fees. Not from county funds."

Skewed truth. The commissioners aren't letting the DCRSD enforce their planned forced hookups of all septic systems they pass a small 2 inch sewer pipe in front of. The DCRSD also needs county money to operate.
The DCRSD was organized to take care of mainly High Ridges' pollution of South Hogan creek and a few other failing sewer areas, not build a sewer empire for the developer/realtors.

The taxpayers don't need to over pay or double pay for sewer services.
$4 million dollars of taxpayer money is earmarked for the DCRSD to spend and the DCRSD is looking for ways to spend it other than it's intended purpose of fixing High Ridge Estates.
Dissolve the DCRSD.
The sooner the better!

Anonymous said...

$4 million dollars of taxpayer money is earmarked for the DCRSD to spend and the DCRSD is looking for ways to spend it other than it's intended purpose of fixing High Ridge Estates.

Remember, now we are hearing inane ramblings from the DCRSD that it would be "CHEAPER" to build a treatment plant than running lines to Dillsboro or Aurora to sewer High Ridge!

Go figure!

But along with the earmarked $4,000,000.00, how many "MILLIONS" of dollars will have to be spent by those forced onto the sewer lines of this "CHEAPER" alternative!

Of course, this "CHEAPER" alternative, is what will be "CHEAPER" for a hand-full of "politically connected" realtors and developers, not those forced to subsidize their development!

Anonymous said...

The DCRSD, always looking out for the citizen/taxpayer, is willing to put liens on all those homes they would be forcing onto their realtor/developer Board Members' sewers!

Ten, twenty or thirty thousand dollar liens on existing homes, will certainly make new homes, subsidized by these existing home and property owners, much more attractive relative to the now inflated costs of existing homes...helping greatly "new" development in this County...and is not that good for all of us...or so we are continually told by public servants of the realtors and developers!!!

Anonymous said...

The DCRSD’s days are certainly numbered:

Hankins was intelligent enough to see the “writing on the wall” as far as what the future holds for the DCRSD!

Fehrman seems to be coming around to reality!

Dennerline…well he “got his” and that is all he ever cared about!

The silent twins…I think are just Board members for the “refreshments” during the breaks!

Benning is already looking for another public teat!

And Maxwell, well he seems to be nurturing an aneurism facilitated by his arrogance, stubbornness and obduracy…he will be a drooling mess before too long!

Anonymous said...

And it all boils down to conflicts of interest and some board members afraid to rock the boat or stand up for what is right.
Ethics requires action.

Anonymous said...

"Ethics requires action."

We have too many "conflicted" persons involved in County Government and Politics, forever working their own private crooked "angles," for any of these persons to feel comfortable pointing out the crooked "angles" of/and the "standard operating procedures" of those who view our tax dollars as their own petty cash fund!!!

Anonymous said...

"Benning is already looking for another public teat!"

Let us hope she lands on her feet, with yet another opportunity to steal from the citizen/taxpayer to afford her development masters a bit more profit!

Anonymous said...

"The DCRSD is not about development...it is about helping people."

As High Ridge Estates continues to dump more raw sewage into Hogan's Creek, because the DCRSD just cannot seem to find that "FIX" that would permit a DCRSD Board member to sewer his development on High Ridge's dime.

Anonymous said...

Is there anyone on the DCRSD's Board willing to speak the truth...that it is "THEFT" they are promoting in the name and guise of the "PUBLIC HEALTH?"

Anonymous said...

"Remember, now we are hearing inane ramblings from the DCRSD that it would be "CHEAPER" to build a treatment plant than running lines to Dillsboro or Aurora to sewer High Ridge!"

Maybe cheaper at first observation but the DCRSD has to run the sewer plant. Which will take many dollars over the years and DCRSD will be responsible to IDEM for any problems in the collection system and plant. IMO..It will be much more expensive to build a package plant for High Ridge Estates. $4 million will not be enough for a good start of building and operating a package plant. The DRSD needs to be dissolved. Their advise and thoughts are flawed.

Anonymous said...

We should be due for another "editorial" furnished to one of our two "lap dog" commissioners to post in the local paper, laying out how "short-sighted" it is to not let the DCRSD do and have anything and everything they desire to sewer every farm in the County!

Anonymous said...

We would not want to impede the "property rights" of these various realtor/developers by interfering with their drive to force other "property owners" to re-mortgage their “homes” and "properties" to enable these various realtor/developers to develop their newly acquired "properties" to their fullest potential!

Anonymous said...

The DCRSD needs to be "de-funded" out of existence.

Any of their enablers in political or public office need to be removed from their positions.

A list of attorneys needs to be gathered of those willing to serve this County, for the public good and not just to ensure the profitablity of these attorneys' conflicting business and professional interests.

This would be a good start in curtailing the existing corruption that now permeates County Government.

Anonymous said...

"The DCRSD needs to be "de-funded" out of existence."

The taxpayers voice of reason!

Let the existing sewer entities grow with their ability to serve the community needs. Then, let the developer/realtor group play BY the rules, not play WITH the rules.

Anonymous said...

Where's the money for the forced sewer hook ups?

Anonymous said...

"It will be much more expensive to build a package plant for High Ridge Estates. $4 million will not be enough for a good start of building and operating a package plant."

How BIG is High Ridge Estates. VRUC was planning to build a sewer plant for about $2 million. That was big enough to handle the existing 1825 homes and add the State Line Rd. / Georgetown Rd. residents.

Anonymous said...

"Where's the money for the forced sewer hook ups?"

Ask Lehner, Kramer and their number one co-conspirator Ewbank!

Those were/are the legal parasites with all the plans on forcing others to subsidize their development interests!

Or you could ask Mike Hankins…he probably has a good handle on where the money will no longer be coming from!

Or you can ask Doug Baer…he seems pretty psyched about sending out “forced hook-up” letters! Someone must be whispering in his ear about “enforcing” such “hook-ups!”

In the DCRSD's short life, they already have expended well over $100,000.00 in legal bills! Maybe that money was spent on finding ways to come up with the capital to fund DCRSD's sewers without bothering existing home and property owners with "getting loans" to subsidize a few realtor/developer/land title attorneys!

Or maybe it was just all one big misunderstanding…until after the elections, of course!

Anonymous said...

"Where's the money for the forced sewer hook ups?"

Should you ask where is the POWER for the forced hook-ups?

The DCRSD doesn't have it or they'd be using that power.

Let the political rhetric run it's course. Then you'll see if there is any empathy for the forced hook-ups.

Dissolve the DCRSD.

Anonymous said...

Then, let the developer/realtor group play BY the rules, not play WITH the rules.

Those who own the County Attorneys...make up the rules as they see fit!

Rules that profit the County Attorneys and realtor/developers at the taxpayers' expense!

Anonymous said...

"The DCRSD doesn't have it or they'd be using that power."

Which reminds me, how is that "No Enforced Hook-Ups Letter" coming along?

Are law partners Ewbank and Kramer still twisting the meaning of the statute in a manner that the DCRSD just has no other choice than "forcing" hook-ups to subsidize a few Board members' subdivisions and/or other developments!

And really! Should not one of these two attorneys and law partners step down because of the absolute appearance of impropriety that is now omnipresent in all their actions?

It is getting quite comical...these antics of Ewbank and Kramer!

Greed can be a real bitch on a person's sensibilities!

It'll be interesting to see whom the realtor/developers back, for their patsies, the next election.

To start the process we need to counter as we "see the whites of their eyes".
I'm sure they're setting it up now.

Anonymous said...

It'll be interesting to see whom the realtor/developers back, for their patsies, the next election.

Rumor has it that Fox and Hughes are in the process of changing their party affiliations to Democrat...in order to run against the Republicans that will beat them in the primary!

Many in the Development owned Republican Leadership are already sporting "HILLARY/OBAMA" campaign buttons!

Anonymous said...

So it looks like Fox and Hughes' days of taking care of their chief benefactor, Bob Ewbank, are coming to an end?

Do they get to keep the rings in their noses?

Hopefully, where Ewbank had his name, number and his office hours tattooed to Rick and Jeff’s back-sides, can be easily lasered off or at least easily transformed into some form of tribute or homage to Johnny Nugent!

Anonymous said...

Which reminds me, how is that "No Enforced Hook-Ups Letter" coming along?

You will never see that letter. A local government cannot enact any rules which are less restrictive than state law. (ie. may force connection vs. maynot force connection) It won't happen. Sorry to disappoint.

Anonymous said...

To start the process we need to counter as we "see the whites of their eyes".

We would do better to counter as soon as they slither close enough to where we can see the "slits of their eyes coupled with their triangular shaped heads."

Anonymous said...

A local government cannot enact any rules which are less restrictive than state law.

But they can appoint board members who will not interpret every MAY into a SHALL in every case that ENRICHES a few Board members and Land Title Attorneys!

The Commissioners could make it clear that they will not appoint Board members who would bankrupt existing home and property owners to subsidize a few realtor/developer/land title attorneys...as well as they will not re-appoint those Board members who would force others to subsidize realtor/developer/land title attorneys!

That they can do!

And this County certainly needs a good "house cleaning!"

Which is why the Development Interests in this County will do their best to once again rig the upcoming elections...dust mites that they are!

Like that little "PEP TALK" one local land title attorney gave his rank and file development republican cronies last election to support the development chosen democrat!

Anonymous said...

And the voters can throw out those Commissioners who would and have appointed such Board Members in the past, who would steal from our neighbors to enrich themselves or other development interests at the citzen/taxpayer's expense!

Anonymous said...

You're right, but the letter that is asked about on this site at least 15 times a week will never be seen!

Anonymous said...

County Council, since focusing on all the "problems" that have and are manifesting themselves concerning the DCRSD and its Board, intends to let the DCRSD just whither away on the vine!

In private, many are absolutely disgusted with the goings on of the DCRSD's Board!

Anonymous said...

You're right, but the letter that is asked about on this site at least 15 times a week will never be seen!

The "Letter" would have been symbolic as to the Commissioners intention of not supporting those board members who would steal from existing home and property owners!

It would also let the public know where each Commissioner stood on the issue...for those who did not know already!

The "Letter" would also have been symbolic as to the principle that "development at any taxpayer cost" is no longer practiced nor idealized by the Commissioners!

Anonymous said...

If the Local Republican Leadership desires to prove to all that they are back in charge of the Party, they should not endorse, campaign for, finance nor in any other form or fashion, enable those Republicans who by word or actions, supported the Democrat over the Republican candidate last election!

If not...well we know pockets are deep in this County!

Anonymous said...

Let us not forget all the empty talk from DCRSD cheerleaders claiming the State is "forcing" the DCRSD to "force" everyone onto their sewers!

Nothing could be further from the truth and these manipulating propagandists knew they were spreading “out and out” lies to enable a few politically connected realtor/developers to tap into the savings of our friends and neighbors to finance these realtor/developers’ sewers!

Anonymous said...

The DCRSD is willing to support wasteful and expensive duplication of services and forcing others onto their sewers to collateralize its very being and the promotion of its one major goal of developing land far from existing infrastructure!

For no other reason than to line the pockets of a handful of developers and their associates!

Who are those in local government who think this, coupled with grinder pumps and pressurized sewer lines, is a good idea???

Anonymous said...

Which is why the Development Interests in this County will do their best to once again rig the upcoming elections...dust mites that they are!

Put in such terms, it is amazing, when you step back and consider what the Development run Republican Leadership was willing to do to keep "absolute" control and hegemony over local government!

It would seem some long for a “Banana Republic” Republican Party form of County Government!

Unless Morris wants to reside over the "Development Flunky Party," I cannot see how he can allow any money or support to be siphoned away by Fox nor Hughes from County Republican coffers, during this election cycle!

Time will tell if Morris has the stones to be a leader or just another "Go-for" for would-be "Development Masters" of this county!

If I remember correctly, Cary Pickens did not even have the testicular fortitude to even publicly reprimand his "wayward" republicans last election!

Maybe that is why Morris stepped up to the plate...we will see if he is swinging wood or wiffle!

Anonymous said...

I would not be so hard on Pickens, he was a very, very, very small fish bullied by "toothy" baracudas such as "Boss Fish Breath" Nugent, who was just doing what bigger fish were directing him to do!

It would seem all our County "fish" flop wide-eyed on the decks of their betters' fishing sloops!

Many minnows run for office...while only a few sharks own the minnows and the office!

And, of course, if a true fisherman runs for office, all the "fish" vote for the democrat!

Anonymous said...

And Morris?

Wasn't his wife's name on flyers and leaflets supporting a list of "republican" candidates with "democratic" Linkmeyer added to the list, with no mention of "REPUBLICAN" Ralph Thompson???

Morris is definitely capable of swinging wiffle...and swinging "both" ways...politically...and maybe other ways...which is why he may do what his masters tell him to do...blackmail is an obnoxious exercise!

I thought from its very inception, the no enforced hookups letter was in order for the commissioners to "publicly" remind the DCRSD's Board that the commissioners will not support enforced sewer hookups and they will remove Board members and/or dissolve the DCRSD if the Board should stay its course?

And it would still seem such letter could be drafted.

To this observer, this is just another ploy by Ewbank to keep his posse of two commissioners from "publicly" committing to what they already said they would support!

Since I believe it is the commissioners who appoint members to the DCRSD, it is certainly in the commissioners' province to take a "public" stance on such a matter!

To do otherwise, would lead the "public" to think that the commissioners are powerless in steering policy of the DCRSD! Which is not true!

Just as the "public" was lead to believe that the DCRSD had no choice in forcing hookups, which was never the truth, but another ploy to re-direct attention away from the true motives of the DCRSD's Board members and their personal and conflicting interests on the Board!

The refusal to draft this letter of "proclamation" would seem to be just another exercise by a "conflicted" attorney to give the "public" the impression that they as well as their elected officials are powerless to stop the DCRSD...which is bunk...but such false impression works to Development's interests...which is Ewbank's first priority!

Anonymous said...

Rick Fox, Jeff Hughes and Ralph Thompson, could tomorrow join in writing this letter, without the need of Ewbank's counsel.

But, of course, that would mean Rick and Jeff would have to finally take a stand and commit to something that is not in line with their previous predilection of pimping "Development at any and all costs to the taxpayer!"

And Development interests have been their total constituency, if not masters!

Ewbank needs to spend more time counseling the commissioners on ethics...such as the appearance of impropriety of having himself and his law partner as County Board Attorneys, on two separate County Boards, contemporaneously.

Surely, even our County Attorneys subscribe to some form of canon of ethics?

Rick and Jeff should ask for Ewbank's resignation!

Though, that would be akin to slaves firing their masters!

Since I believe it is the commissioners who appoint members to the DCRSD....

The formation documents of DCRSD, which I have read, state that the 7 board members are appointed by a combination of County Commissioners, County Council, County Health Dept., and the City of Aurora.

Anonymous said...

Some say that Ewbank was the motivating factor behind Rick Fox and Jeff Hughes' political suicide last year in publicly and loudly supporting "Development's" democratic choice, Linkmeyer, last year over republican Thompson!

Geesh!

Consider the consequences to the taxpayers of this County if some agency would combine Ewbank, Lehner and the requiste turkey baster...the spawn of Satan would be running for cover in that day care!

Anonymous said...

"...7 board members are appointed..."

But somehow, we are lead to believe by development flunkies, that the “juggernaut” which is the DCRSD cannot be stopped by mere mortals???

Throw out Fox and Hughes…relieve Ewbank of any participation in County Government and dissolve the DCRSD!

Is their one person involved in any of the above entities who feels that the DCRSD has done anything other than to attempt to feather the beds of a few realtor/developers, alienate the populace and piss off "REAL" sewer districts by their naked power grab?

Anonymous said...

Let the competent folks of Dillsboro take over High Ridge's sewers and let those "speculating" on farm land far from existing infrastructure pay for their own sewage plants and lines.

It is not the taxpayers responsibility nor those neighboring these land "speculators'" proposed developments to insure and guarantee a quick and sound profit of these realtor/developer/DCRSD Board Members!

Anonymous said...

Lets not forget the play to spend MILLIONs for capacity at St Leon. That was a useless fruitless play by the realtor/developers that has NOTHING to do with sewer pollution in areas designated as prime polluters(Highridge and Guilford).

"The DCRSD is not about development, it is about helping people!"

At least that is what you hear when "Development Interests" own your local politicians!

We have a glut of for sale signs posted all over this County, with no one selling any houses. So, what makes good business sense? Have the taxpayers subsidize more housing starts!

If our realtor developers were in the beer business and demand was down for their product, they would be on school boards pushing their product on our students!

Jim West would be writing editorials for his favorite County officials waxing eloquent the fantastic opportunity our schools could offer to increase beer sales and thus beer jobs!

And Rick Fox and Jeff Hughes would be lamenting that the "anti-everything" crowd has kept our children too sober for too long! Now there are citizens who have to drive to Ohio or Kentucky to contribute to the delinquency of minors!

Anonymous said...

We are told we need development in this County. But it is only because we have "cheap" land available that would make a handful of realtors and developers a small fortune buying "cheap" land and developing it!

Why is the land "cheap?"

Because those who own it presently do not have the political connections to have the taxpayers run sewers out to their "cheap" land!

Yep! Our County is "ripe" for development...by the chosen "politically connected" few!

Anonymous said...

Because those who own it presently do not have the political connections to have the taxpayers run sewers out to their "cheap" land!

Most of those landowners would have never imagined that there was enough corrupt people in office willing to force good, decent people, at extreme costs, to subsidize the sewers of a “connected” developer!

It is still mind boggling to anyone but the ethically and morally bereft!

I have to ask again...Who has been forced to hook up to sanitary in this county? Were do all the numbers come from if no one has been forced to hook up.

You need to get your facts straight about who pays for the sanitary sewer. All the recent developments that I have seen around this county seem to paying for their own utilities and no one is being forced to hook up or share the expense of the development.

I guess this is just a tactic to scare everyone to believe what you say without any truth or facts.

What are plans of the DCRSD to pay for their sewers?

Why is Doug Baer chomping at the bit to send out forced hookup letters?

Why is Frank Kramer going in front of the County Council speaking on putting liens on those homes they will force onto the DCRSD's sewers!

There has been no other alternatives offered by the DCRSD's Board Members to pay for their sewers other than forced hookups!

This is about the DCRSD!

Always lies and misdirection offered by the DCRSD's enablers!

Anonymous said...

The DCRSD is nothing more than a realtor/developer charity set up to help down and out realtor/developers by "forcing" charitable contributions from the taxpayers and those surrounding these down and out realtor/developers' subdivisions!

Local Woman Will Be Forced To Hook-Up
(Napoleon, IN) - The Town of Napoleon has won a battle with a resident that has refused to hook up to the local sewer system.

Resident Ida Grow had been fighting the forced tap-in for several months.

Let the developers hook onto existing sewers, with capacity and if no capacity for their developments, they need to work out the finances of servicing their development, out of their own pockets and not try to devise ways to force others to finance their projects!

Always lies and misdirection offered by the DCRSD's enablers!

Prepare yourselves for the oft-used lie:

"THE STATE IS FORCING HOOK-UPS, NOT THE DCRSD!"

Lies! Lies! And more lies!

Thankfully, the County Council has grown weary of the DCRSD Board's lies and has cut most of their funding!

Even Council realizes now that High Ridge will never get fixed by the current bunch of self-serving parasites involved with the DCRSD!

Very well said!
That's what needs to happen. There is infrastructure available but the DCRSD wants to Piggy back fees on top of the existing infrastructue fee to support WHAT? The DCRSD's control for the realtor/developer's USE.
Those piggyback fees and the DCRSD's control are not needed. The DCRSD needs to be dissolved.

The DCRSD:

WILLING TO MAKE YOUR HOME UNMARKETABLE TO BETTER THE FINANCIAL OUTLOOK OF THOSE SELLING SUBDIVISIONS OF NEW HOMES!

Impact and development fees would open up this County for more, controlled development. But our local realtor/developers would rather the rest of us be forced to pay, what are defacto impact and development fees on their behalf!

Anonymous said...

If this County permits the DCRSD to force hookups, there is nothing stopping them from forcing anyone and everyone onto their sewers wherever a realtor/developer gets a good deal on a farm!

"I guess this is just a tactic to scare everyone to believe what you say without any truth or facts."

I guess it is just one big lie told by Lisa Lehner, speaking as the DCRSD's board attorney, when she responded to a question about how are folks expected to pay tens of thousands of dollars "WHEN" they are forced onto DCRSD's sewers:

"MAYBE YOU COULD GET A LOW INTEREST LOAN TO PAY FOR YOUR FORCED HOOKUP!"

The "conspiracy of lies" goes deep, I guess, of those who like to libel the good folks associated with the DCRSD?

The DCRSD has no intention of forcing hookups...that's right...they have no intention of forcing hookups...it is all just a figment of the imaginations of all those "anti-everything" people!!!

County Commissioners appoint TWO members to that DCRSD Board, Council gets TWO, Health Board gets TWO, and Aurora gets ONE.

Odds are that the DCRSD will be out of business by next year. They let too many people down who thought its board was both capable and trustworthy. Wrong on both counts. The board's power grab did nothing but cause hard feelings that will not soon be soothed. The DCRSD played a large part in the ousting of Vera Benning and will lead to the ouster of both Fox and Hughes. The DCRSD has proven to be a disaster.

Why must taxpayers' money be used for the lawrenceberg Chamber of Commerce? These ant brained officials represent the direct antithesis of everyone except their amen corner. Thse birds are for putting factories on the farmland in the North West Quadrant, they are for using taxpayer money to further their own goals, like TIF bonds, and unnecessary sewers.

Let's tell the Commishes to knock it off. Thin of the money we cojld save.

Now someone yell me three excellent things that the Chamber has done for Dearborn Countian during the past 5 years.

Well, they did get us two Commishes and help cheer on Viesta.

And they are magical; they can convert conservatives into stay home voters, and non contributors to their beloved County and State RINO party.

I guess that we ought to think of it this way, look at all the money we are saving by not contributing to the local and state RINO party, the Governor, Mike Sodrel AND our beloved, and respected JOHNNY NUGENT.

It has been commented that Council is wise to DCRSD; but, in the last sewer board meeting Charlie Fehrman was present to "help them get their funding!!" Remember in the last Council meeting he broke the tie in favor of the DCRSD for $116,000 to start design on a system to serve Highridge Estates and, by the way, Gabbard Estates! It will force 140 homes to hook on to the system.

Could it be that Charlie Fehrman is planning to help Bret Fehrman??

We need to replace some Council members too.

Remember Liz Morris runs the paper that leaked the information to Fox and Hughes to write their negative flyer in the last election and put it in her paper!!

Anonymous said...

Well, I'm sure Morris' husband will throw her out of the local republican party...as he intends to do with both Fox and Hughes!

So, what do you say, Mr. Morris?

Are you ready to clean up the party?

Or will you be just another "Bo Bo" for Development Bosses!!!

Anonymous said...

Could it be that Charlie Fehrman is planning to help Bret Fehrman??

Charlie needs to help Brett find a second job until the national housing slump passes so he can pay for his own damn sewers!

Let Dillsboro take care of High Ridge!

And like Morris said in the last Council Meeting, Dearborn County does not need to be in the sewage treatment business!

Especially where such "business" would lead to a duplication of services, forced hook-ups and sky-high, ever-increasing sewer rates!

Anonymous said...

For every actual dollar it "COSTS" to build a sewage treatment plant, to run lines and other expenses of running and maintaining a plant, "COSTS" to those forced to pay tens of thousands of dollars for the excavation, grinder pumps, line, electric service and other incidental expenses, need to be calculated into the true "COSTS" of these DCRSD sewers!

When those numbers are added to the actual costs...we will have the most expensive sewer district in the Nation!

Anonymous said...

LIZ VS. CHARLIE

Thankfully, the in-fighting and mutual distrust of each other, will help negate whatever "bad things" these two have in mind for the taxpayer, to subsidize their respective cronies!

Didn’t Nugent tacitly support that whole Morris/Linkmeyer debacle of last year’s election?

Poor ole Johnny, always swerving into the “wrong” lane!

Anonymous said...

Commissioners and Council,,,STOP FUNDING DCRSD!!! Wasting money by duplicating sewer service is an understatement. Fixing High Ridge can be done another way. The money is available to fix High Ridge estates, USE it for its intended purpose.

Dissolve DCRSD! It's the first step in resolving a BAD decision of the last leadership. It's out of control!

Anonymous said...

High Ridge was just part of a couple of realtors/developers/lawyers' "shell game" to have the taxpayer buy them a sewer system for their development!

Anonymous said...

Didn’t Nugent tacitly support that whole Morris/Linkmeyer debacle of last year’s election?

Well Johnny sent me a letter in which he claims that he and his wife voted for, now get this, FRANK Thompson.

FYI Frank Thompson is the husband of Jean Leising who ran against Lee Hamilton. Frank Thompson has neve run for anything nor does he wish to do so. So who did Johnny really vote for in the County Commish Race? Did he even know the name of the Republican candidate? That is a hard question to answer so everyone can try 4 times to figure out for whom my buddy Johnny voted.

Liz use your ink let them have it.

During last year's election, Morris did her best to stage a coup d'état to entitle a few "connected" realtors/developers "to have it all!"

At the taxpayer's expense, of course!
