INVITATION TO THE WOMEN OF DEARBORN COUNTY

WOMEN OF DEARBORN COUNTY SOCIAL

Your host

Kathy Scott for Commissioner

This is an invitation to come together to share your feelings, concerns, and needs as citizens of this county. Your input is needed to provide good leadership and future direction.

Sunday April 20th from 2-4 PM

Dearborn Adult Center

311 Tate Street, Lawrenceburg

I am your neighbor and will work very hard to care for our community. In this world of uncertainty, we all need a safe place to come home to. Our children need a healthy place to play; they need education, careers, and jobs that will sustain them through all times. We want a community that grows while keeping its values and integrity as a model for our children.

With this invitation, I am asking you to tell me what is important to you as mothers, career women, and grandmothers so I can represent you in our county government.

Kathy Scott
Candidate for D-1 Commissioner

You Clowns think that jobs are more important than anything.Have you seen what theunemplyment rate is in our county. Its not that high. Farmland is what is really important. How do you expect to feed an increasing population (Your family). Isnt Agriculture going to be our main answer to the energy problem. You guys need to think a little harder. Take away our rural charator and build industry and guess what- We look just like norther Kentucky. I dont know too many people leaving Dearborn County to move there.

I would pay all the DCEDI types moving bills if they would move to Northern Kentucky.

It is that environment they seem to long for.

You are right.

Boy are you reaching.

Desperation setting in?

I believe that little get together is open to the public.

When will the DCEDI open up their meetings to the public.

What admission fee for that women's get together?

Zero.

What is the admission fee for the DCEDI?

$5,000.00.

How much of the public, men and women, were permitted to be part of the NW Quadrant planning?

Your looming defeat must be eating you alive.

I love it when thugs and bullies are reduced to whining ninnies!

Scott advertises her meetings.

How many "meetings" did Jeff then Rick serially have with DCEDI and Development interests that were not made public?

Anonymous said...

Will any of the "ladies" who attend Scott's "get to know you" session be writing any of her future editorials?

Doubt it.

Well BOYS you can have a couple free hours Sunday while the wives go sip tea...
And speak their minds about what THEY want for the county.
Bet it's not much different from what you want.
Just a more conducive environment to get women to share their thoughts.

Will Scott make all those who do not have her on speed dial get on the agenda first a week before the the little social in order to attend?

I don't think so.

What so frightens the current batch of politically connected developers and their associates, is that they are one election away from being treated as our equals...

...oh, the humiliation...

Yep!

Only us common folk are required to plead our cases in front of political hacks whose minds have already been made up by their development bosses well before the meeting, a meeting we must get on the agenda a week a head of time to even gain admittance to OUR public forum.

Unimproved farm land miles and miles away from existing infrastructure can be bought up cheap, then, if you have the right connections in local government, you can get all those who live around your new purchase to pay for all the infrastructure you need, or such neighbors will be hauled off to court, by a lawyer that they paid for, to force them to pay for your infrastructure. Al Capone would be proud of this little local development scheme.

Doing things right?

Or doing things right with morals and ethics?

You can say what this county "needs" and most if not all will agree. Doing things the "Hughes Way" or the "Right Way"? The voters should think about that for longer than 2 seconds it takes to mark the ballot.

Never forget that the "Hughes' Way" is his handlers' Way!

We were all supposed to roll over and play dead after the handlers set things in motion!

If we did not play dead, they would use the legal process to force us to do bend to their will!

Once we stood up to that, the handlers hit a pitch of cognitive dissonance never experienced by our local greedy, Dearborn County would-be political Boss Hoggs!

Expect every and any attack on those not in the handlers' corner, no matter how irrational or lacking in any form of credulity and factual attachment to reality!

These handlers have made no plans past their proposed heavy-handed and threatening stages!

They are in uncharted territory without a compass, directional or moral!

You idiots dont seem to get it. Their is an industry in Northern Dearborn County, its called farming. Thats where the food comes from on you dinner table, not Krogers. Why do you see the need to destroy what is here. If you dont like it move to Boone or Hamilton county. And why do people in other parts of the county always try to tell us what to do here for thier benifit. We dont tell you what to do with your part of the county.

To all the nonresidence of the NW Quad. builders and developers, please go away. Come up with your big ideas for you comunity. We already have an industry, its called farming.
