Hammond sounds interesting here-
some creative thoughts and an open-minded approach.

Thom- Please explain how you are going to "lock property taxes into a 5 year cycle." Property taxes are part of a state mandate and all properties are to be assessed each year through 2011. How will you change that as a county councilman?

It sounds to me that Hammond will not be in anybody's pocket.

How refreshing will that be?

Maybe Charlie Ferhman could try to get Hammond a job with Maxwell, to balance things out to keep the 95% development power position in county government?

I don't think Hammond would be receptive to such an offer though...being an honest person with self-respect and all of that!

Vote for Thom Hammond...he is not on a John Maxwell short chain!

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

Our local Development oppressors would view Martin Luther King, Jr. as just another "anti-everything" and a "do-nothing" unless he would be willing to hand out campaign literature favorable to the Maxwell/Ewbank vision of where this county should be: in their pockets!

So, I guess Bob Ewbank will ask for rebuttal time to Thom Hammond on the FlyPod, to be followed up by a lovingly produced presentation by John Zeiden on the evils of septic systems?

Thom Hammond made notice of the ability of our corrupt politicians to tie their own hands as they then plead their hands are tied when dealing with crooked development interests in this county.

I am sorry to be accessary to the loss of a single moment of time by the House.

That is what they all say in "Madison" Indiana!

Great job Thom!

Very impressed with Mr. Hammond.

He seems to be his own man and will not take orders from the development controlled republican central committee of Dearborn County.

Dave Ensweiler better stock up on Valium!

My apologies for the deletions. While I value great writings from the past this service is dedicated to the now.

Please save the Declaration, Magna Carta, etc. for your own blog/website.

Regards,

The Management

I was half-thinking that such "great writings" were being used by development toadies to make the comment section of this blog virtually unreadable.

Thank you for cutting out the clutter!

But we all still must recognize the greatness of our country's founders!

Just not in the comment section!

Another attempt to stifle free speech and discourse in Dearborn County! This venue must really be bothering the old power group, that they cannot abide the free speech of the Citizens.
