Council calls emergency meeting today to approve 2016 Budget

NOTICE OF EMERGENCY MEETING

Place:      Dearborn County Council Meeting Room

                2^nd Floor, Dearborn County Administration Building

                215B West High Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025

Authority:        Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-5(d)

Nature of the Emergency:       Dearborn County Council called a meeting for 9:00 A.M. on the 23^rd day of October, 2015 for the sole purpose of approving the 2016 Budget.  However, a quorum was not available at that time.  The 2016 Budget must be approved by October 23, 2015.  Failure to approve the 2016 Budget would be an actual disruption of governmental activity under the jurisdiction of the Dearborn County Council; therefore an Emergency Meeting has been called.
