Next Planned Event- Tamara Taylor- Close Triple Whipple for next Community Bridges Event. Sept 14-21.
2024 Contract with Purdue Extension Lease with Aurora- Liz Beiersdorfer, County Extension Director- Approved for $18,000/year
2024 - 911 Dispatch Interlocal Agreements- Dillsboro, Lawrenceburg ,Moores Hill, and St. Leon. Baudendistel said they had met with some explaining their numbers etc Some of them still have to get their end approved still. Lawrenceburg did already. Approved.
2024 EMS Contracts- Sue Hayden- These are the gap distribution of the $250,000 that Council gave them. Some have to get financial s and some have not responded yet. The EMS LIT cannot be distributed until March 2024 per Fromhold and so this covers them until then. Approved.
EMS LIT Consultant Contract- Baudendistel- Council wanted the county to have a consultant to do a deep dive into how EMS gets services done. Hanofin and Associates, LLC from Liberty Township OH is who got the contract. $47,500. Goodman said - They were the only one who showed up in person and is local. Dr Hanofin is highly credentialed per Goodman. Approved.
ADMINISTRATOR – Sue Hayden- Board Appointments
Normally done in January- but they actually expire December 31.
The following we all approved again for 2024:
Alcohol and Beverage Board - Jim Dole
BZA Board of Zoning Appeals -Mark Lehman, Russ Beiersdorfer, & Phil Darling
Emergency Management Advisory Board- Dave Weismann & Jody Blasdel
Plan Commission- Mark Lehman and Russ Beiersdorfer
PTABOA Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals- Jodi Wolf and Mark Hardebeck
DC Redevelopment Commission- Jim Helms, Jim Deaton, and Jim Mansfield
Health Board. - Dr Michael Shugar for 4 year term and requires signature for the state.
AUDITOR – Connie Fromhold -Claims/Payroll and December 5th Minutes- Approved
ATTORNEY – Andy Baudendistel- March 28,2022- rezone on Sneakville ad Stateline and had written commitments for one entrance. PC had a hearing with no public wishing to speaking. They Plan commission approved a revision of this to 2 entrances/exits on Sneakville. Friendshio State Bank is owner.
COMMISSIONER COMMENTS
Probst- Thanks to Maintenance for Christmas Decorations.
Thatcher - recognizes Ken Madden for A Christmas with Friends and for other things he does for the Community.
LATE ARRIVAL INFORMATION- Sue Hayden- Thanked Judge Negangard for a luncheon he put on for all the good bye thanks you for Magistrate Schmaltz who will be replaced by ??? Hopes it will be a n annual event. To get courthouse and add employees together,
Conservancy Election - Only one ballot to be cast by Dearborn County and another one that is now dissolved, Technically we should only get one ballot per Baudendistel. Fromhold said that she should reach out to Jared Ewbank to get that cleared up.
Approved to give Sue Hayden the proxy to execute that one vote that she will consult with them on.
Meetings need adjustment in 2024 for Feb 6-7 AIC Legislative Conference- and Dec 2-5 Assoc of IN County Commissioners. And one fixed in August. Moving date to Feb 5 Monday morning- 9 AM - Baudendistel will be missing doe to hearings. The December meeting will probably be OK as is.
PUBLIC COMMENT- Tom Schneider- Live in Lawrenceburg, and asking for their support for his candidacy as he has a lot of experience. Probst- thanked him for expressing his interest and making his case.
