Fehrman read the Public Access Statement as legally required.

Minutes: May 21st Minutes Approved

Public Comment: At 13591 US 50 Dillsboro, 91 year old resident is downsizing. Has 11 plus acres. Interested in providing some access right by the sewer plant. In return he was wanting to know of they could pick him up for sewer. He was a former customer in his earlier home from 3 years ago. Dillsboro was throwing out huge numbers for them to hook him on. He is to the east of the DCRSD line and SEI Data. But he is on county land- not Dillsboro limits. He is willing to wait for an answer- till next year. No decision.

Moores Hill - Interlocal agreement between Moores Hill and DCRSD regarding Teresa Meyer was drafted that had her as a Moores Hill customer. Extended discussion regarding this agreement and the implications for the rest of the residents of Cora Drive eventually. The Meyer property is one that will be resold as it is an investment property they have improved. Dollar General option also is in the mix. There are similar issues on a Crossroads property and one with LMH and Serenity Ridge. Moores Hill is willing to annex Meyer and Dollar General. Baer said they might also need to revisit some of the agreements on Henderson Rd and Serenity Ridge. His was totally separate with LMH back then. TABLED both agreements for further review by the attorney. ( Moores Hill and Crossroads)

Project Updates: Christy reported

Guilford- Control Bldg scheduled to be finished by months end. Specs for permanent crossing given to them.

$18,428.75 for the restroom addition to the Control building was submitted.

RR specs are in and Meinders is ready to go. His workers have to be trained online for $75 for his people to be on the ROW. They need a flagger too. Will schedule inspector again.

2 change orders below: approved for later signature.

1. T and valves for Pribble main- $3,3077

2. additional and  $1,000 credit for lower priced epoxy floor coating in the building.

Future change orders for Guilford- hopefully no more. Open dig along SR 1 by Texas Gas $14,251 Casing pipe driver $9,900 Driveway concrete $59,000.

Deadline is the end of June for change orders.

Chaffee is 2 weeks out on installing equipment into the plant.

Dillsboro- need homeowner user agreements to start installing out there.

New Business: Cline asked Kramer to have a permit for commercial users to be sure there are no contaminants in the wastewater from SEI Data and gas station. There is supposed to be a qtly list of addresses who have hooked on to Dillsboro. Meinders will report to Kelly as they install the grinder tanks and Derek Walker can get his info from Kelly.

Next meeting Christy will go over action plans on infiltration at High Ridge.

Kramer said they will need water readings at Moores Hill IF Meyer is their customer. We bill for the water used but pay the bulk rate to Moores Hill. If annexed that won’t be a problem.

Office Update:

Claims: Walker from Dillsboro per Cline had an invoice that Baer and Cline think needs to be changed. Baer agrees. DCRSD will approve the $73,000. Other lower amount was highlighted in error.

Dillsboro claims $169,179.87- Approved

Operating expense $ 2682.32- Approved

Guilford claims $835,175.01- Approved

Fisher paid off the district for owed amount and filing cost and Atty fees missing etc. More owed. No lien release will happen per Kramer until it is all paid.

Baer said DCRSD needs a place to do a storage pod or shipping container to store pumps etc that are scattered in 3-4 places. This is for future consideration to consolidate our assets.

SEIData paid up and DCRSD established a deposit account for them.

RR inspection fees will be prepaid by Meinders for inspection and put in for reimbursement.

Adjourn: 7:00 PM
