After listening to the podcasts, it's time for a change.
Vote for Jon Cleary and get a Judge that is enthusiastic not an unenthusiastic LIFER.

They both sounded enthusiastic to me.

Vote for Jon Cleary and get a Judge similar to Mike Witte that is enthusiastic that you may vote him into a lifetime judgeship or a stepping stone political office to match his future plans to become an unenthusiastic LIFER and political piglet suckling the public teat to fit his ego driven desires...

Not a dimes' worth a difference.

Vote for me! Vote for me! And I promise to forget and not empathize with those of you, who do not run in my same social circles, until I again need your vote!

Witte and Cleary seem to be cut from the same cloth.

Both only seem to view the voter as a necessary evil in the process to get them the hell out and far removed from podunk Dearborn County Petty Politics and off to some greater State or National Petty Political scene.

The "Hey, look at me" crowd..."do you know how important I am" above the rest of us common types.

Our local politicians, especially our legal/eagle politicians, view the voters as just children...

...which may be why these voters' feelings are so conflicted as to these mere politicians' respective candidacies:

I have known Jon Cleary his entire life and he is a good man. Dearborn County would be well served by him.

And Witte is what type of man?

I pity the Witte.

Cleary- Witte, what is the difference? Cleary seems to have a lot less experience.

Also, Cleary has been put up to run against Witte, because Witte overruled a local Judge and the Prosecutor's actions. Witte was upheld on appeal by the Appellate Court and the Supreme Court. This apparently angered the Prosecutor and the Judge. Why would Cleary be someone's dupe.

Judges are supposed to be independent and impartial, not fold to the will of the Prosecutor!

Are you sure that's the only reason? Why would you know That? Did Jon tell you? Get real, all the political spin sounds like Witte is afraid of loosing his power position. It's time for a change. Being Judge is not an appointed position, it's an elected position, a constitutional choice our forefathers fought and died for.
It's time for a change!

Anyone else remember when Mike Witte first ran for judge as a deputy prosecutor with ONE year of experience when he was working with prosecutor Bob Ewbank?

maybe one of them will put the commissioners in jail for impersonate a commissioner

A couple of commissioners don't know they ARE commissioners!
They think they are players in a game and are always looking at the sideline for their coach's signals.
It is sooo sad.
Fox and Hughes can't think on their feet or seat!

TELL ME WHAT TO SAY COACH-I'M READY TO PLAY-MAXWELL'S WAY.

Without a shadow of a doubt, I will 100% support Karen Shell and her leadership in HVL! I am certain Karen will ALWAYS do the right thing for our community. She IS the honest, straight forward person she says she is. Karen, you've got my vote!

VOTE FOR JUDGE WITTE - EXPERIENCE IS VERY IMPORTANT! SO IS FAIR AND IMPARTIAL AS HE IS.

Anonymous said...

If "hey look at me" Negangard and "smug Court number 2 judge" is against Witte, then he has my vote.

Icing on the cake?

Lehner and Ewbank don't like him!

Witte may, at times be full of himself, he may play all the games for higher judicial positions, but he has always been fair, in the bounds of the law, to those who come before him.

Witte is a decent guy.

He does his job.

To date, none of his detractors here have stated anything negative relative to his qualifications or judicial manner.

Sour grapes and political infighting is all I sense.

Tell me why Witte should not be reelected.

Throw me a bone.

No bones to be thrown, he does and has always done a very good job. I guess his opponent will never take his family on a vacation or go to the mandatory new judical classes, oh---- he must be very intelligent and already know it all. By the way, Judge Witte takes vacation time to go to these seminars and teach/learn from other judges.
