LOCAL PAPERS WEBSITES CHANGED

Dearborn County's local newspaper has two NEW and IMPROVED websites.

You will find breaking news on the sites at times.

Obituaries are posted as received- which is an important community service as they will no longer be on WSCH.

I don't see why Register Publications does not devote its failing editorial pages to obituaries, classified advertisments and cards of thanks. Other than the pandering to the DCDEI and C of C types there is nothing on the editorial pages, other than the news editor's infatuation with that South Side Chicago anti American presidential candidate.

Could be the people are just tired of politics now- such an overload from the national level.
And what is happening in the county that is being seen by the public?
Even blog entries seem to be bland on meetings. People aren't doing anything- they are afraid to stir up the local voters.
Even with their sites on the newest and easiest target in our county (Jackson Township)they have trouble getting money to do it. Note our biggest developers are unloading assets and land. Even Lawrenceburg said in recent comments about helping pay for the new state park in Greendale- they can do it- IF IT IS IN STAGES. And that may be the answer to that - plan for the future and that big expensive bridge across US 50- but stage it so it is affordable. Even INDOT does that...
Changes in government are needed to get action/reaction and discussion moving.
You may have issues with Obama- but he sure is a conversation starter!

Well, we have the news editor of Register Publications cheering for Obama and we have that insipid letter to the Editor by Father Bacio, who ought to pay attention to religious things happily telling us about how wonderful it is that Obama is a nomination of for President.

IS REGISTER PUBLICATIONS GOING TO ENDORSE OBAMA, THE NEW YORK TIMES DID SO.
