This Week's Register - 2 Opinion Letters and LIT EMS Story

A well informed electorate is a prerequisite to democracy. Thomas Jefferson

For those of you who do not subscribe to the Register - you can obtain a copy at some of the local stores or at the Register Office which is now at 221 Walnut Street. First available paper is about 10 AM Wednesday. Cost is $2 per issue or about half that price if you subscribe for a year.

This week front page middle is Marc Emral with the LIT EMS distribution story including quotes from officials at the Council Meeting last week regarding the issues with Dillsboro's termination of EMS funding.

The Opinion Letters to the Editor page has 2 letters - One follow-up letter from Guy (Jim) Fulton regarding the GOP position and issues on candidacy for some of the primary precinct committee spots. The other is from the Board members of Southeastern Indiana Residents for Responsible Growth Leadership of Stop Link 101.

I am posting this as I have been hearing from people who wish to know more about these particular topics the past weeks.
