An informed electorate is a worthwhile goal.

As long as Morris, Ewbank and a Committee made up of DCEDI members get to filter the information before it "contaminates" the masses!!!

Give the original copies of all such information to DCEDI Committee, before distribution to have all the inappropriate language and ideas concerning political free thinking redacted and replaced with terms such as: DO NOTHINGS...ANTI-EVERYTHINGS...SELFISH MUELLERS...BUCKEYES...ANTI-GROWTH SEWER DENIERS and the like!!!

DO NOTHINGS...ANTI-EVERYTHINGS...SELFISH MUELLERS...BUCKEYES...ANTI-GROWTH SEWER DENIERS

I heard Ewbank has already distributed the above list of approved terms to be used by his in-pocket political development foot soldiers.

Of course, all terms were spelled phonetically.

That’s “fone-eh-tick-lee” for those development foot soldiers reading this blog!

After Ewbank's "foot soliers" burn themselves out and get thrown out of office in pursuit of Bob's financial interests, they will be lucky to receive a Christmas Card from him in the future other than a generic form post card asking for their support of his new line-up of candidates!

What makes you think Morris, Ewbank and etc. are filtering theflypod.com?

Anonymous said...

Grammatically speaking, just some rhetorical logical transposition to make a point on how our local party “leadership” filters public discourse.

Anonymous said...

I do believe it was an obvious...with a knife in the black heart of those who think they own this county and its political process outright without the need nor desire for the rest of us to participate, other than giving these Hooterville Donald Trumps access to all our tax dollars...sarcasm.

Anonymous said...

"THEY WILL BE LUCKY TO RECEIVE A CHRISTMAS CARD FROM HIM IN THE FUTURE OTHER THAN A GENERIC FORM POST CARD ASKING FOR THEIR SUPPORT OF HIS NEW LINE-UP OF CANDIDATES!"

That is what gets me about this whole sick and nauseous political comedy. Ewbank has his political assclowns walking over broken glass for him to make him more money. But what is Ewbank offering these assclowns other than his assurance that he will do his best to rig the next election to keep them in their paltry political positions. He certainly is not offering them a piece of his real and bankable action that he intends to reap with all his political chicanery.

Anonymous said...

Both Lehner and Ewbank should give a seminar at the next shysters’ convention on the planting, fertilizing and harvesting of political ass-clowns!!!

Hell, I see them doing hour long infomercials between the hours or 2 and 4 AM on local cable channels: “Ass-clowning your way to success and counterfeit respectability!!!”

Anonymous said...

Speaking of assclowns and crazy development hyperbole, did you see this week’s letter to the editor?

“You will die’ if ‘no growth’ proponents prevail

It would seem that our good Dr. Rahe believes we are all “doomed” if we do not give over this County and our tax dollars over too all our honest, sincere and earnest developers!

To heck with those on septic systems, polluters they must be, maybe those of us already on sewers could complain we need better, more enhanced and superior sewers to help pay for the sewers needed for the development which would most surely stave off our impending lack of subdivisions and industrial parks “doom” we seem so destined to experience and suffer through…damn those selfish farmers and egocentric taxpayers!!!!!!!

Damn them to their rural, picturesque and serene hell that they are sentencing themselves and condemning their children to!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

It burns my britches thinking my children can not find employment for thousands upon thousands of miles away from our ole homestead!

Please!

Someone!

Bring us sewers and all the wonderful thing-of-abobs that comes with it!

If my children have to move further than the next holler, I will never get to see the grandbabies!

Anonymous said...

maybe those of us already on sewers could complain we need better, more enhanced and superior sewers

My sewers are on gravity lines.

Gravity scares me.

Is there not some electrical device that exists out there that would pump my waste away from my home, without all that scary and expensive gravity...and might this not be, also, a very nice and reasonable and affordable alternative for some of local realtor/developers to run sewers to their subdivisions at a fraction of the costs of those menacing and daunting gravity lines?

Brett Fehrman…where are you...help us…help us all!

Anonymous said...

"If my children have to move further than the next holler, I will never get to see the grandbabies!

Don't worry darling, we intend on making your "holler" a backup dumping and staging area for our soon to be Council approved sewer plant...to keep all your kids and whatever "Double Lick" spawn that may occur, as with all our extra waste, as close to you as possible!

Doug Baer will soon be at the front door of your cabin with all the necessary releases!

Anonymous said...

Doug Baer will soon be at the front door of your cabin with all the necessary releases!

Doug Baer: King of all things crap related!

Which must account for his "snooty" demeanor all those times he would "talk down" to the DCRSD Board!

I used to think he just detested that bunch for what they were trying to do the taxpayer!

Anonymous said...

"Which must account for his "snooty" demeanor all those times he would "talk down" to the DCRSD Board!"

Snooty must be in the eye of the beholder.

I always thought he was in absolute awe of the DCRSD Board and especially that young litte "Maverick" Brett Fehrman.

Anonymous said...

And tell us all why Brett Fehrman wants to be elected to Aurora City Council this November?
Surely it can't be about sewers for his realty sales again!
The honest realtors in this county must be sick of watching this.

Anonymous said...

Brett wants to keep our sewer rates down and after he makes us pay for his sewers for his subdivisions he will get right on that goal!

Brett is also the "pro-growth" candidate.

And he is willing to have Ewbank and Kramer sue each and everyone of us until we support his and the DCRSD's growth.

Anonymous said...

"Gravity scares me.

Is there not some electrical device that exists out there that would pump my waste away from my home, without all that scary and expensive gravity..."

YOU are MISINFORMED....

The misinformed was probably a "cornered" realtor/developer whom wants to get by "on the cheap". They get out of responsibility in just enough time to allow the property owners of their subdivisions to get stuck fixing the cheap infrasturcture as they smile and close the door in the property owners face.

Anonymous said...

Maybe Brett can influence enough council members to replace their current attorney with another attorney from Ewbank and Kramer?

Anonymous said...

Maybe Brett can get himself appointed to the board of South Dearborn Regional Sewer District as Aurora's representative. Then he'll have two sewer boards to work toward helping him sell cheap farm land for high density development.

If the citizens of Aurora elect him, they deserve to have him screw them.

Anonymous said...

Then he'll have two sewer boards to work toward helping him sell cheap farm land for high density development.

Which by itself would leave me waxing a bit melancholy to see green pastures turned into subdivisions and kwikee-marts.

But to add insult to injury...

...crooks such as Brett, his fellow travelers on the DCRSD Board and their "related" legal counsel, want to extort the money needed for Brett's subdivisions from the rest of us!!!

Development is inevitable!!!

But to allow these degenerate reprobates to put a gun to our heads and force us to hand over the cash needed in order for these, small-town, small-time losers to make a buck, is just beyond the pale!!!

Anonymous said...

Exactly.

Don't try to sell us on all the benefits of "growth" when the funding for someone else's "growth" comes from our savings.

To forcibly transfer money from one group to another is not “growth.”

It is theft.

Anonymous said...

Brett Fehrman and John Maxwell, if septic systems are ticking time bombs of environmental and ecological disasters, then do not build nor sell any new homes that are on septic systems.

Or just shut the hell up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know what you both are all about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knock it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I've seen a few new doublewides placed on land which are on septic systems with Fehrman Signs staked out front!

Maybe Brett only thinks their are "septic disasters" hovering around his proposed subdivision on 50, where dollars are already flowing to fix another developer sewer mess, High Ridge Estates!

Those areas of the County that are light years from having sewers because of logistics or funding, have no septic problems whatsoever!

Anonymous said...

Well according to Chuck Andres, septic systems do not work, period.

I would imagine he, Fehrman and Maxwell are no longer on speaking terms.

When he occasionally shows up at DCRSD Meetings, does he look extremely pissed-off at Brett and John for what they are doing to HIS waterways?

Anonymous said...

At least with Chuck, Brett and John you know where you stand with these three...

...or should I say where "not" to stand...

...which would between any of these three and a tax dollar.

Anonymous said...

Could someone refresh my memory, but was there not some developer up in St. Leon steeped in taking advantage of the forced hook ups to sewer his subdivision, but still wanted to have a few of his homes on septic because it was not cost effective for him to have these few homes hooked to sewers?

Anonymous said...

"When he occasionally shows up at DCRSD Meetings, does he look extremely pissed-off at Brett and John for what they are doing to HIS waterways?"

Chuck, Brett and John are like three rancid peas in the same twisted perverse pod!

They will throw every excuse out there to rationalize and diminish their theft from others to subsidize their individual interests and welfare!

Septic systems are evil when such fits their needs!

Septic systems are quite practical and efficient when that fits their needs!

This is all about what fits their financial requirements at any given point and at any given place in time!

The public health ruse, is just that, a ruse!

Why do you think High Ridge is still dumping raw sewage into Hogans?

High Ridge’s failed sewers will never be refurbish until someone gives the ok to add Brett’s subdivisions to the fix!

And if that takes building a sewer treatment plant and forcing everyone onto, or at least make them pay, for Brett’s sewers, then so be it!

Anonymous said...

"Why do you think High Ridge is still dumping raw sewage into Hogans?"

Where was Andres, Maxwell and Fehrman when the VRUC, a sewer utility, was dumping millions of gallons of raw sewage into this County's waterways?

Maybe that did not fit the agendas of these three purveyors of “sewers are the answer to all our (exclusively their financial) problems?”

Does Andres support the most efficient and immediate fix of sending High Ridge’s sewage to Dillsboro, or is he all for the DCRSD’s dragging of feet, to impose Gabbard Estates on the High Ridge’s fix, which would cost millions more and would simply prolong the dumping of raw sewage into North Hogan’s Creek?

Chuck Andres is an opportunist...of the first degree.

If there was a buck in it for Chuck...he would sell lead paint suckers to school children.

TOM ORSHELL FOR COMMISSIONER. WHAT A JOKE! THIS IS THE MALE VERSION OF VB. HE IS ONLY RUNNING FOR PERSONAL REASONS. AFTER LISTENING TO HIM ON THE FLYPOD, HE IS LAUGHABLE! WHAT DID HE DO FOR HIS INTERVIEW, READ THE REQUIREMENTS FOR VOTING FROM INDIANA'S WEB PAGE? AND HE DOESNT EVEN KNOW THAT CLAY TOWNSHIP IS A PART OF DEARBORN COUNTY! HE SAYS THAT BY GOING TO COMMISH MEETINGS ( 2 TIMES A MONTH) "IT FALLS INTO PLACE" WHAT? DO YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT IF I GO TO A MEETING I AM QUALIFIED FOR A COMMISSIONER? WELL THATS GOOD TO KNOW. MAYBE IF I GO TO ALL MEETINGS I CAN RUN FOR THE US PRESIDENT! I LIVE IN DC IN THE NOTHERN PART OF DISTRICT 1 , I HAVE TALKED TO ORSHELL ABOUT SOME PROMBELMS, AND ALL I WOULD GET IS HOW MUCH THE COUNTY OWES HIFGHWAY WORKERS. WELL DURING SNOW YOU CAN BET TOM IS MAKING SURE THAT HE CLEANS THE ROAD BY HIS BOYS CYCLE SHOP. IT IS CLEANED BEFORE PEPPERTOWN ROAD. HE HATES HIS BOSS AND THE CHANGES IN THE WAT IT IS RUN. IT IS SAID THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO PARK THEIR TRUCKS, GUESS WHAT NO ONE GIVES ME A TRUCK AND GAS TO GO TO WORK, AND I DONT WANT MY TAXES PAYING FOR HIS! THEY REDID THE WORKERS INTO NEW GROUPS AND TOM ISNT WITH HIS "BUDDIES? ANY MORE, iT LOOKS TO ME THAT HE WOULD BE TIRED OF COVERING UP THE "AFFAIRS" OF HIS GROUP. HELL, JUST DRIVE THRU BRIGHT AT LUNCH TIME. IT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS AND NO ONE HAS HAD THE GUTS TO STOP THAT CRAP. TOM STANDS FOR TOM, AND WITH HIS VIEWS ON BEING CAPABLE FOR THE COMMISH SEAT, WANTS SUPPLIED WITH TRUCKS, GAS, SETTING HIS OWN TIME TO GO TO WORK, AND "AFFAIRS" AND HATING HIS BOSS, WELL VOTE HIM IN, IT AINT ONLY THE SEWERS THAT THE TAX PEPOLE ARE GETTING SCREWED ON, ITS PAYING PEOPLE LIKE HIM TO GO TO WORK.!!!!!!!!!

Sir ;I would look forward talking to you about the problems the county has and how I stand on them. It dont take much of a man to make these comments with out giving your name. Tom Orschell

Anonymous said...

If Doug Baer thinks the whole county should be sewered but then does nothing about raw sewage spills, I guess we should do away with his job and save the county some money.

Anonymous said...

Tom,
I am a man and I do not have to leave a name. You know who I am, I have talked to you before, lots of times. And I get the same blah!
1. Where do you stand on gas and trucks supplied to Hwy workers. Does every HWy person need to take a truck home on 70 degree days and when the truck is getting around 8 MPG?
2. Doesnt every person on thwe hwy need to be trained, male and FEMALE on all of the equipment?
3. Do you think Listerman and Grieve meet the requirements to run the HWY office?
4. What is your stand about adultry in the workplace and people who cover for them. Isnt that a sin? What do you think.
5. What requirements do you have money desicions, ordinaces, loans, riverboat money concerning growth in DC.
6. Do you think going to commish meetings are the requirements you should have?
7. Do you believe in hiring back persons who have benn fired before from the county? If so, why?
Lets start with these tom, and what i dont need is more papers that you and your buddies put out in the bright area, and schools when you said the commisherners were trying to take away things from you. (last year, if you have a laspe in memory) Do not put more litter in the county.
I bet that I wont get a straight answer on these. DENY DENY DENY
I will vote for anyone in D2 Commish race except you. At least fox or whoever runs will have more values than you!

my name is thomas orschell and i am a candidate for district 2 county commmissioner. i would like to respond to some previous comments from mr. anonymous. first i do not have any personal agenda, no axe to grind, and do not have any allegiance to anyone other than the citizens of dearborn county.

i apologize to the people of clay township for omitting them from district three.

i did not mean by going to the commissioners meanings someone is qualified for commissioner, i simply meant it is a good way to understand the county government process.

i have never talked to anyone about county problems nor said such outrageous things.

my sons business is located on peartree drive off of old u.s. 52. i was instructed to plow old u.s. 52 first because it is a main road. peartree drive is not a county street and i have never plowed it. my son hires a private contractor to plow this road and can prove it.

i have a good working relationship with my superiors, the county engineer, county highway superintendent, and the road foreman. hate is a strong word and i hate know one, including you mr. anonymous.

the county truck drivers pay is $13.46 per hour, the county gives trucks to be taken home as part of pay. they are on call 24/7 and expected to go out from home for a quick in case of an emergency such as wind, flooding, snow, and ice. if the trucks are located elsewhere, these employees can not respond as quickly as needed. if the county no longer furnishes the trucks to take home it doesn't bother me, just know that the citizens of dearborn county will not get as fast of a response time from the highway department.

the county reconstructed the highway department and it makes no difference to me which location i report to or what duties i will need to perform.

i do not have any idea what mr. anonymous is talking about as far as the affairs go, it sounds to me he has been watching to much desperate housewives.

as i have said in the past, if i do get elected i will resign my position in the highway department and become a full time commissioner with that job as my top priority.

i will agree with one thing mr. anonymous has said my interview didn't go so well and i do not deny that but i wonder how well he would do on a live interview or if he would give his name for one.

i urge the citizens of dearborn county to get to know all of the candidates and make their own informed decisions vs. mr anonymous' off the wall comments.

i would be happy to meet with anyone at their convenience to discuss county problems.

sincerely
tom orschell

well Tom, just like I thought, you would be a great dodge ball player!! Fact: You did know flyers were distributed in Bright against the commissioners. It wasnt until the county administer threaten to fire all of district 1, when the papers dissapered. In fact, I think I can still get a hold of one. Part of the pay? for drivers? I am sitting here in a great day, no storms, no ice, rain, or threatening weather, and yet all of the hwy workers have trucks in their drives. I would like to know when they will be called out tonight, due to the severe weather. And when you drive tomorrow to work, hopefully there wont be any ice on the roads. But for sure my taxes are filling up your truck tank. Listerman said in a meeting there would be trucks going home only when severe weather is due, I can handle that, but today? Please. Part of your Pay? Please? If you become commishiner, which you wont, do you expect the county to give you a car for your pay? Sounds like a VB to me. Hwy isnt the only waste of fuel, Building, maintenance and others are a drain on the fuel. How do you fix that Tom? As for desperate housewives, never seen it, it sounds like you do. To deny the adultry relationship from your crew is outragoues. Maybe its on hold till "a back heals". You didnt answer half the questions which I knew you wouldn't or cant. Keep leaning against your closet door, tommy, cause the skeletons are coming out. When election time is closer, the truth is coming out, some interesting pics the county will see. Desperate housewives no, Desperate highway wanna be commish, oh yeah.
"Just say no to Tommy O"

no fuel being used if there just setting in driveways

Fuel used getting to and from their homes though

Anonymous said...

Why pick on the highway workers? There are alot more sheriff's cars sitting in driveways than highway cars/trucks, or do you have a vendetta against highway workers? If you want to clean things up and save tax dollars, shouldn't it be done across the board?
