VIDEO OF THE NEW TANNERS CREEK BRIDGE PLANS

A video of the new Tanner's Creek Bridge plan driving from several points.

Lawrenceburg web site link www.lawrenceburg-in.com

Then click on Lawrenceburg and go to Tanner's Creek Bridge for the video.

Where are they going to place the speakers to play that music when we cross that new bridge?

Anonymous said...

If you play the video backwards it turns out that that music is Queen's "We Are The Champions" just played in reversed.

Anonymous said...

I'm missing Jim West.

If he was still here he would describe this bridge as a "BRIDGE TO THE SOUTHWEST QUADRANT."

Maybe Mike Rozow can step up and fill the Jim West void?

Anonymous said...

Has Mike Rozow ever crossed the existing Tanners Creek Bridge?

The Carroll C. Cropper Bridge is all he needs to get him back home at the end of a long day looking out for all "OUR" better interests!

I don't think those who produced this video studied deeply enough the demographics of Dearborn County.

In the video, not one truck can be seen with a rusty bumper with coon hound dog boxes in the back with window stickers showing some hillbilly relieving himself on the make of truck that is not the one sporting such window sticker!

Was there a Starbucks somewhere in that video?

Anonymous said...

Also, not one Rick Fox nor Jeff Hughes' motorized vehicle crossing that bridge with bumper stickers reading:

I LUV THE DCRSD!!!

Anonymous said...

Call me stupid, but I have crossed tanners creek bridge a thousand times and I have never seen that other bridge. I will vote for Hughes and Fox if only to find out how such fiction could possibly be perpetuated on us living in this county. People, that other bridge is not there. I blame Thompson for such fakery. All those tax dollars Thompson is spending to fool us all could be better spent in finally fixing that crisis of the High Ridge Estates.

Anonymous said...

While I do love all the funny posts prior to mine, I'm sure all such posters agree...

...cool video!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

After learning that Thompson supports the new Tanners Creek Bridge, our local yokel republican leadership, via their feeble mouth piece, the Bright Beacon, has officially commenced in their referring to such a Tanners Creek overpass as the Tanners “Hussein” Creek Bridge…

Anonymous said...

Do not be blind-sided by all this talk about Thompson.

Look towards the coming election.

Kathy Scott is equally as dangerous to this County as Thompson.

She, like Thompson, has a well-paying second/first job.

How can Scott be controlled by the Maxwell/Ewbank consortium Republican Leadership?

People!

She is yet another person who is not running for office to improve her meager financial wellbeing!

She just does not fit into the Dearborn County Republican Leadership paradigm!

Will Laughery Creek be the next "bottle-neck!?

Will Laughery Creek be the next "bottle-neck!?

The "Triple Whipple Bridge" is in place to save us all...

Anonymous said...

When is the Tannners Creek "Gone Wild" video expected to come out and be marketed late at night on the Comedy Channel.

You know, that advertisement that wakes you up from a sound sleep, hoping against hope that your daughter is not foolish enough to participate in such a Tanners Creek Bridge "Gone Wild" video.

Anonymous said...

Will this bridge help improve transportation in the southern part of the county enough to stop DCEDI poster boys, Bill Ritzman and John Maxwell from looking at the northwest quadrant.

Anonymous said...

Too many hills, too many valleys, to interest Ritzman and Maxwell with the SW Quad.

Until their ilk own this entire county by brown noser political fiat, allowing them the ability to bulldoze all of the SW Quad's hills into the SW Quad's valleys to fit their needs.

Rumor is:

Hogans Creek has more than enough capacity for Ritzman and Maxwell's development sewer needs.

Anonymous said...

It's sad the men like Bill Ritzman , John Maxwell and Bob Ewbank have gone to the dark side, I use to have much respect for all of them.

Anonymous said...

Not the "dark side," but the "green side!"

Money is the saving grace of us all...

...at least according to the Gospel of Ritzman, Maxwell and Ewbank...

Anonymous said...

"I use to have much respect for all of them."

You need to raise your standards a tad!

Anonymous said...

Is Rick Hussein Fox up for re-election? I sure hope so.

Anonymous said...

Poor Rick.

He must live through Jeff's humiliation in the primary, only to wait out his humiliation in the general election.

So much time to reflect upon things that might have been.

Oh, the pain.

Anonymous said...

History will show that Ewbank just used up Jeff and Rick until there was nothing left salvaging to meet Ewbank's selfish needs.

Anonymous said...

It is funny how you screwups turn a post about a new bridge into your self serving discussion about the county issues. Nothing positive, just the same old, pissed off discussion. I bet it warms you up to be idiot. Keep up the stupid talk. Sad.

Anonymous said...

Perhaps we should attempt to "bridge" the divide between the haves and have nots in this county?

Anonymous said...

Cool bridge.

Vote out Rick and Jeff.

Anonymous said...

What is the projected completion date for the bridge?

Anonymous said...

2010 then they start work on repairing the current bridge.
Unless they've changed plans at INDOT

Anonymous said...

Thank you.

Anonymous said...

Once again this group takes something positive, very positive for those of us who live west of Lawrencburg, and turn it negative with your idiotic trash talk. On a side note, while I don't necessarily like everything he's done development-wise (ie: filling the flood plain in Greendale) John Maxwell is a very good man. Disagree with what he does if you must, but don't attack the man personally!

Anonymous said...

I've known John Maxwell for many years and know he is a good man. The nut group has to be down on somebody because they know they don't have anything to offer themselves. It's just the continual "put down others so you look good". Just read this blog, it's very obvious!

Anonymous said...

You're right! John Maxwell is a good man. Boy, are we going to hear it now from the idiots.

Anonymous said...

Quit talking to yourself.

When Maxwell comes around to the idea that the rest of us have as much say in this county as he does, then we will all sing his praises.

First order of business, stop the sewer scamming.

Anonymous said...

Maxwell and his friends have no one to blame but themselves. They thought they could bully themselves to profits. Sorry, doesn't work that way.

Anonymous said...

I hold anybody suspect involved either with the dcedi or St. Leon's sewers.

Everything about those two entities cries out corruption and political pocket padding at our expense.

Anonymous said...

Fix High Ridge Estates, the job you and the DCRSD was tasked with in the first place, without forcing High Ridge's neighbors into bankruptcy to support a few "connected" realtor/developers' “additional” sewer projects, Mr. Maxwell. Then we will believe your and your sycophants’ protestations that you are looking out for "all" our interests. But as long as we may be forced, by threats from attorneys we pay for, to subsidize your development dreams, don’t come looking for any sympathy here.

Anonymous said...

Neat bridge.

Will I still have a home to come back to on the West side of that bridge?

Or will someone from Ewbank and Kramer or the partnership of Lehner, Ding, Ding and Ding A Ling, force me from my home because I cannot pay the appropriate "tribute" to this County's Maxwell and his ilk's demands?

Anonymous said...

You're right! John Maxwell is a good man. Boy, are we going to hear it now from the idiots.

Stay on topic, what do you think of the proposed new bridge.

Or do you have your own agenda, such as an agenda of those you call "idiots" on this blog?

Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye?

Anonymous said...

Since Maxwell seems to have refused to hook up to St. Leon's sewers, please tell me he is at least paying "availability fees" for such sewer service that greatly benefits him?

Anonymous said...

If John is not paying such fees, Brett Fehrman needs to take John Maxwell out behind the wood shed to make his mind right!

Maybe Frank Kramer could send John a” letter of disappointment?”

With the proper letterhead and other accoutrements to impress upon John the error of his ways, of course.

Anonymous said...

"You're right! John Maxwell is a good man. Boy, are we going to hear it now from the idiots.

Yip...yip...yip...look at me Mr. Maxwell...

…as I dribble and slaver my bodily fluids down my legs…

...I will forego all self-respect to garner and gather your favor!

Pat my head…pat my head…pat my head…

Anonymous said...

How much did we pay for this video? Looks like more fleecing of the taxpayer's to me.

Anonymous said...

The price of the video will be included in our "Happy Meal!"

Feeling "Happy?"

Anonymous said...

Why do many of our realtors/developers/bankers/lawyers' interactions look like the south end of a pig going north?

Anonymous said...

You people are gross !

Anonymous said...

You people are gross !

Wait till you see the “gross” total number of votes that throw your crooked cronies out of office!

Yuck!

Anonymous said...

Public service should be considered just that, public service, not an avenue for further employment nor a step in someone's retirement plan.

Anonymous said...

"Keep up the stupid talk. Sad."

Do you feel any sadness for those who may find a letter in their mailbox demanding they get loans or face lawsuit because a politically connected developer just happened to buy a farm in their near vicinity and requires them to "chip in" for his needed sewers to maximize his profits?

Do you?

Feel sad?

Anonymous said...

"The nut group has to be down on somebody because they know they don't have anything to offer themselves."

I make a comfortable living, without the need of involving myself in politics to try to force my neighbors to better my living.

You need to get your priorities and principles straight.

I have never felt the need to have some shyster send off a letter to those who live next door to me and my family, demanding they involve themselves in increasing my bank account receipts.

Maybe I'm not as sophisticated as Mr. Maxwell and those who follow in his path for any remaining crumbs.

Anonymous said...

Who has received such letters?

Anonymous said...

Who has received such letters?

You must be new in town.

Have you not heard of those being sued in St. Leon because of such letters?

Or have you not followed the workings of the dcedi and their lawyer(s) coming up with one after the other of such forced hook-up letters, which in no doubt has everything to do with increasing the bank accounts of the powerful few in this county?

Welcome to Dearborn County!

Do not judge us all by our most crooked developers and their butt-boys and girls!

Anonymous said...

"Who has received such letters?"

Feel free to visit us up in St. Leon. Where only us pukes get such letters. Mr. John Maxwell excluded, of course.

Anonymous said...

Letters? Subscribe to the local papers. Listen to the local radio. Read this blog that you are now posting on to ask such a question. Vote for Fox and Hughes if you desire more evidence of such dastardly dooings.

Anonymous said...

Who has received such letters?

Forgive me, but your question reminds me of the old Heinrich Himmler-like bromide:

”SHOW ME THE JEWS THAT HAVE BEEN PERSECUTED?”

Anonymous said...

“WHO HAS RECEIVED SUCH LETTERS?”

When you have the time, look up Thom Hammond and those who share his pain after receiving such letters.

If that really matters to you, little “missy!”

Anonymous said...

"Who has received such letters?"

Let me guess, you enthusiastically support Hughes and Fox?

Do you find yourself getting up a lot at night bewildered and unable to sleep?

Do you sometimes wish you did not have a conscience?

Anonymous said...

"Who has received such letters?"

You nailed us. You have us pegged. No one received such letters. No on is involved in a real court case relative to such letters. Feel better now? Sleep sound tonight.

Anonymous said...

on = one, I would not want you to focus on my spelling errors and somehow forget the gist of what I posted. But please, I beg you to still have a pleasant night's sleep. Do not worry about those expending their lives’ resources to defend themselves from such self-serving and self-enriching assertions in such “letters,” that do not exist in your realm of self-denial.

Anonymous said...

Do you know when any of these will be going to trial?

Anonymous said...

"Do you know when any of these will be going to trial?"

I am thinking there will be no trial. Harassment suits seldom make it to trial.

This is a case of extortion, pure and simple.

May God bless those on the receiving end of the brunt of this harassment.

Vote and make a difference.

Vote.

Anonymous said...

Will Charlie Fehrman, Rick Fox, Jeff Hughes and Maynard Barrott kiss the Ewbank ring in their efforts to be re-elected this year?

Anonymous said...

Do you sometimes wish you did not have a conscience?

A conscience?

You presuppose considerably, extensively and very noticeably far too much.

We find ourselves in the company of those who only value the dollar, over all else.

A conscience can only be a deemed a hindrance of such a nature and kind.

Anonymous said...

I agree. We do seem to be in the mist of a movement trying to game the system to get the very "most" by taking advantage of those with the "least" amount to give. Sad. Very sad. Riches are not riches if they must be gained in such a way.

Anonymous said...

"Riches are not riches if they must be gained in such a way."

But such actions will be rewarded, with all the pomp and ceremony their ethically disingenuous peers may so muster, as moving this county "forward" by the reprobates that presently populate our local Chamber of Commerce.

Anonymous said...

So, are you suggesting, that receiving an award from the current makeup of our local Chamber of Commerce, would not, necessarily, be something one would want one's preacher, grandmother or dear sweet mother to be aware of?

Anonymous said...

Is it true that Vera Benning is awaiting, anxiously, for her promised "Life-Time-Achievement-Award from the Bright Beacon?

Anonymous said...

She has already received it
What award have you received lately?

Anonymous said...

The residents of High Ridge Estates have a "reward" for Vera but she never comes around High Ridge anymore.

Anonymous said...

To Vera go the spoiled soils....

Anonymous said...

LOL!

Anonymous said...

Vera:

"THE DCRSD IS NOT ABOUT DEVELOPMENT...IT IS ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE...PEOPLE WHO JUST HAPPEN TO BE DEVELOPERS..."

Anonymous said...

Rodney Dennerline is still trying to work an angle to have the DCRSD pay for the fathead minnows, bluegills, catfish and bass he will be stocking his pond with this spring!!!

The DCRSD has proven to be more than generous in the past to Rodney!!!

Anonymous said...

Is the reason that High Ridge Estates is out of options (according to Dennerline) that their is no viable way to hook in the lift station High Ridge would need into a low pressure main sewer line?

So, there is no room for High Ridge in the plans of a few realtor/developers and their pet projects, such realtor/developers being closely connected to the dcrsd , if their pet projects are to be given priority?

So, the dcrsd, that was formed and established to fix High Ridge, was the bastard child of a lie from day one?

A blantant lie at that!

Anonymous said...

blantant equals blatant

Spoiled by spell check.

Anonymous said...

The reason this County's good residents remained idle so long in the face of the growing political corruption that was taking over this County:

“A noble heart cannot suspect in others the pettiness and malice that it has never felt.” ~ Jean Racine

Anonymous said...

Another Racine quote:

"Justice in the extreme is often unjust."

Something to think about when the likes of a Ewbank speak to established law and the "tying of hands!"

Anonymous said...

The DCRSD is a developer welfare delivery system and nothing else.

Anonymous said...

John Maxwell has a septic system. John Maxwell has not connected up to St. Leon's sewers. No one is sewing John Maxwell to connect up to St. Leon's sewers. Did John Maxwell even receive a letter informing him he is required to connect up to St. Leon's sewers? If not. Why not?

Anonymous said...

sewing = suing

Although, John Maxwell seems to have all his political power in this county "sewn" in.

Anonymous said...

i look forward to this year's elections

it will be ethically reaffirming to share with my neighbors in voting the development owned politicians out of office

this county deserves to have elected officials that listen to and weigh all points of view

Anonymous said...

Any local governmental employee who feels pressured to publicly support a development ordained candidate(s) due to the undue influence of our local/yokel bullying republican leadership, such leadership who seems to exist only to promulgate the developers’ desires and interests above all other interests in this County, please feel free to publish your complaints here, on this blog.

Give your bullying republican leadership the notoriety they so much deserve.

Anonymous said...

To Vera go the spoiled soils....

Luv it!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

The board of the dcrsd is working dilligently to repair High Ridge's sewer problems by asking for more money from the county council to fund Maxwell's sewer development needs in St. Leon...

Anonymous said...

"To Vera go the spoiled soils...."

And WEST, who coveted the city to the EAST, sought to spoil the soils of the NORTHwest Quadrant, and ended up flying SOUTH to his real home in Atlanta with his tail tucked between his legs.
Someone should have given him better DIRECTIONS.

Anonymous said...

Mike Rozow always wondered how Jim West could travel back and forth to his family's home daily, with out incurring great expense.

So often Mike Rozow wondered why Jim West just did not move to Northern Kentucky to better see to the needs of the developers of Dearborn County.

For goodness sakes, it is not like one has to be neighbors with those whose lives may be dramatically affected by your current line of work.

As long a you are pushing someone else's County FORWARD is all that what counts.

Right?

FORWARD?

Anonymous said...

Only in "Freakastan" Dearborn County would there be someone heading its Chamber of Commerce that neither lives or has any real business interests in the County!

What does that say for the trust of those business interests actually residing in Dearborn County?

Anonymous said...

"Freakastan" dearborn county is what it is because a very few greedy "Freaks" have somehow taken control of this county and have been doing their very best to make sure those who actually reside in this county, pay taxes in this county, raise their families in this county, have NO say in regards to matters that may affect the "Freaks" of this county's profit margins, no matter what preserving the right of the free flowing and unhindered profits of such "Freaks'" may end up costing the residents of this county.

Show the "Freaks" of this county how you feel about them.

Vote the "Freaks'" little "Freaks" out of office.

Hurt them not necessarily in their pocketbooks, but by blocking them from your pocketbooks.

Anonymous said...

I whole-heartedly agree, the citizens need to reclaim Dearborn County from the Backwater Lords of Freakastan!

Anonymous said...

Freakastan...I like it. A very good name for what our community has become. Throw out all those who brought us to the level of being a freakastan.

Anonymous said...

Count the honest and logged in votes of all the republican primary voters...

...if such primary voters vote for the candidate that is not "friendly" to a "Freakastan" Maxwell/Ewbank "friendly" candidate...

...look for an independent "Freakastan" candidate offered up by the republican leadership in the general election.

If history can be any sort of gauge of things to come.
